Hi good evening to all.
Im looking for any feedback on this software solution from Carprog.
I have it original, but not tested yet.
Does it work, as it says on their web??
Is it safe?? I mean if it makes some kind of backup, in case anything goes bad, and we end with a non starting car.
Thanks for your experiences.

Thanks both for answer, but lets see what is advertised at their webpage: (I suppose its needed an existing working key).
VW Golf 6, Touran 2009+, Tiguan 2009+, T5 2009+, Polo 2009+ transponder key preparation from NEC immo key file (PASSAT CC not supported): HOW TO: Using CarProg S7.14 software (http://www.codecard.lt/dash/s7-14-vw-skoda-seat-2009-dashboards-with-nec-programming-by-obdii/prod_505.html) read immo data and save it to file. Open this file in KeyforVAG 2009+ program. Select car type. Now insert new TR48 ( any new TP48 (ID48) (http://www.codecard.lt/keys/-key-chip-/tr-48-transponder/prod_158.html) ) in CarProg A3 antenne and in right "Prepare Key" window push Write". On next screen select key number and save immo file. Now using S7.14 write new immo file to dashboard. Key now is programmed and ready to start the car.
@Keygargoil, they dont say anything about setting dash into "service mode".
If I do understand right, should be, just like:
- reading immo data. Save file.
- open that file, connect transpoder antenna programmer, select car, put transponder to write and generate it, select key number and again save this new immo file, with new transponder data on it.
- Using first software again, load/write the new immo file into dash.
And car......should starts.
Makes me wonder if soft, does automatically all the job with 7 security bytes, and the precoding of the transponder.
Would be nice to have more info about this feature from this tool.
Thanks
Regards to all.

it's all right there....if you look on S7.14 software page this is what they say....
If you see the immo lamp is on (immo is active) or you see the message "Unknow version or Immo Active" you must:
1. Remove dashboard from car and read it's eeprom 24C32 or 24C64 manualy (using carprog eeprom software and A6 adapter)
2. Save this eeprom dump to have backup
3. Fill eeprom dump :
[VAG with NEC MCU + 24C32 inside] - range 0xCA0 - 0xEDF in hex editor with FF FF ..
[VAG with NEC MCU + 24C64 inside] - range 0x12C0 - 0x139F in hex editor with FF FF ..
4. Write this damaged dump to eeprom (using carprog eeprom software and A6 adapter)
5. Put dashboard back to car and connect via DIAG now
6. Load your saved backup (original eeprom) and press write
7. After write compleate you can read PIN change km etc.
Nothing new....typical for VW with any tool...some of them you need to put into service mode manualy by reading the eeprom...and this should also work when all keys lost...
