Hi all,
does anyone of you knows what does the 16 numbers and letters within the DELPHI CR injector code means? What kinda pulse width correction is adopted by the ECU? Any idea to decode it, please? :hmmmm2:
A ref picture here (http://host.storefind.net/%7Edieselin/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/delphi-inj.jpg)
Thank you for any ideas to get over it.

Delphi Multec Light Duty Diesel Common Rail System (http://delphi.com/manufacturers/auto/powertrain/diesel/crfs/multecdcr/)
It seems that this is the same as FORD jets.
I am Programmed FORD jets to the ECU several times with my AUTOCOM

In this code are written the parameters of the injector
you may write them in the ecu and know the corections and pressure this code is generated by injector stand and if you change somting in to the injectors the code is changed.
The other way is just to drive the car some miles and it will learn by it self.

Thanks for your comments guys these was just facts already known but the question was : Is there anybody that knows how to DECODE it and retrieve the primary information from that codes, that has been encrypted there?
Thank you !

There's nothing, only calculated for the factory calibration
to the ECU know how much any of nozzles to be pressure, injection angle and etc
It is impossible to make an identical injets
So they calculate the differences and tolerance, and converts to code
I do not understand what you want more of them

Read this about IMA code from Bosch diesel .

and maybe this too .
http://www.mate.tue.nl/mate/pdfs/6269.pdf
and this is lesson of CommonRail.

Well it only confirms what I've written before
So what?
So what do you want from them?
The lessons you will definitely use you should carefully read
Let's do the assumption that the nozzle code is 12345 factory has established that at 3 bar. and 0.5 ms. He spray 0035 ml. diesel
A nozzle with a number 12346 factory has established that at 3 bar. and 0.5 ms. He spray 0038 ml. diesel
So the computer now knows when and how much he has to open the jets streamlined engine work.

Hi M8?s,
These codes are only for the calibration of the electronic part of injectors, some times you could have a little doubt about what really is the code in any injectors brand. The easy way is read what codes are stored in ecu, with any diagnostic tool, then you will be sure of numbers and injectors order.
These numbers are used by ecu as variable in order to measure the right amount of fuel at any time under any conditions.
Newest cars are more sensitive to injector coding, antipollution laws are the key!!

Well guys, let me tell you my recent story with a tdci crap by Ford.
There was an extra back leak on injs, so I have let them renew in the garage. New codes were delivered as we all understand why. I have put them back and the engine performance was great. One day after I had a free time to program the ECU with my TEXA. The performance was a bit worse than before. Rough idle and smoke in hi revs. Reprogrammed them back as before and everything is fine!?
So the question is: what is the difference between numbers below?
Which one drives ECU to give more fuel ?

Naturally, it drives me crazy to do something I don't know what it really does. That is actually the teaspoon why this thread was started
Peace.

Yes I did, but IMA code decomposition algorithm lies beyond the common diagnostic procedures known I.e. from interesting dopsleutel13?s docs. These basics have to be known to anyone who is willing to repair these sensitive engines in my opinion.
I understand your theory of coding and thank you for that. Anyways, many Chinese factories deliver inj nozzles with needles and also metering valves as spare parts for diesel injectors with appropriate codes, so they have to know what it means somehow... I am quite sure there must be some info leak :bounce:
