hi guys, and updated delphi 3/2012, have fileactivation.xml and I recognized vci, the problem is that I always ask update firmaware and will not let me diagnose any car, does anyone has passed this problem?

What is your VCI Serial number? Maybe it is blacklisted in this version of the Delphi soft?:secruity:

hello, i have similar problem with my old autocom, im using 2011.1 version and after laptop upgrade autocom software tells me that firmware in tester is not up to date.
When trying to upgrade firmware it thows error.tried to change serial nr. from 30250 to 30221 with tool.exe but result is same.
Maybe my serial is blacklisted? what serial should i use? or maybe i should try to upgrade firmware with newer version of autocom software?
or should i manualy upgrade firmware reflashing it by programmer?

You have to use the serial from your VCI with HK, after that you have to test it to the car and upgrade the firmware, with the position of the car key to on. It is a process of updating firmare of 5 minutes.

ive tried to reflash flash memory with programmer with 2011.1 version found here on dk result is same: when trying to test says needs to update, when try to update gives error :(

I've just updated the firmware on both cars and trucks with clone (serial 100251) and sw 2012r3. It does not need to be in car if you can power it up on the bench. Basically I had pins 4 and 5 = GND and pin 16 = 12v.

I've just read a post on another forum saying the program can be internet updated to 2.12.3.2 and this updates the firmware to v1231. Has anyone had the balls to try this on DK?

Yes, it can. I updated my interface with 100251 serial and all was good. New interface for cdp+

little warning chaps do not update firmware on autocom unless you have a very good vci unit to be safe use the firmware 1230 copy paste to autocom firmware folder before you update once done don't update again after that
1231 an 1232 is bricking low quality units

I have single board VCI and did not know what kind of flash memory has but the update process was made by software when I press the update button.

If you need to make update to the device you need to meet the following requirements
1. USB cable must be good quality, I had a case with a programmer who did not want to work because of the USB cable, which had a communication but not enough to programm
2. Best memory from AMD and BSI manufacturers
3. Markings on the processor is also important (so far I've encountered two different tags)
4. Construction of the hardware (so far I've encountered 4 different types) printed circuit boards are the same but the majority of the components are missing

I had one case with defective ft232 circuit , no USB comunication !!
Try bluetooth worked OK on that defective USB device !!

I have seen many people that haves problems updating firmware, also happened with me.
It started to update and after some seconds gives an error, that could not do it.
I dessoldered the flash and on the programmer i found that it was not possible to erase or program, and stil keeps the original dump of version 2011.1
So i bought a new flash and programmed the same version, soldered on autocom, and magic! it could be updated...:stupid:

Firstly thank you for the support you give
My problem is that I have the autocom DS100E gold version 2013.2 and have properly installed and running smoothly.
The bluetooth would have bound and also works.
The problem is I do not actuliza DS100E firmware, in addition bluetoodth not charge me as VCI COM port but as COM3.
Instalale few drivers that you put a link up but not more.
Any idea what can happen.
Also when COM3 recognizes both USB and BT do not charge by the serial number.
I put a screenshot to what you may see.
