So you yourself have to do this with eeprom in the status of registers if I understand correctly you want to do it yourself

Yes , i try , but i use GQ 4x4 programer ,i read but i don t see were i have eeprom protect .
I try program from MBI Poland with ardunio .

It's possible your programmer doesn't have status register programming feature.

Attached picture is example how to program status register using TL866II programer (set status register to 0x8C or binary it is 0b10001100)
Second option is to use "write protection ON" function in configuration terminal in my program.
Ater soldering eeprom back don't forget to make short between 3 and 4 pins

How i see till now only programator enable to write protect eeprom 25LC .... is TL866 , is the cheaps toll .

in fact, a lot of programmers have this ability to work with a register, even very inexpensive ones.
I'm not sure we can look and the pony prog supports it. :cool:

I buy tl866, i manage to protect eep result was 0x8C , but when start terminal from 0000 , start radio and only 65 Show on navi display and stop.
Question, on ardunio i must write hex or Binary from your firmewer.
I put same Foto.

Try running code from 0001 on the terminal. Your version is limited and it is written at the very beginning

It is exactly the same program in different file format.
If it sends data to terminal You have programed Arduino correctly.

I see 2 other issues here:
1. Arduino doesn't receive any data from radio. You have to check connection between arduino and pin 2 of connector at back of the radio.

Arduino program waiting for data from radio, that's why it is hanging. When it would receive any data it should display something (if it is wrong data, it should display error).

2. It seems there is a bad connection between arduino and radio board. Check conncetion between arduino pins A2, A3, A5 and radio (purple, light green, light blue in my manual).

Always read instructions on the terminal and change jumper when it tells you to change.

I know is not ok code tu start wih 43xx for rns 315 ,

As I said in my last post I suspect a connection problem. Check conncetion between arduino pins A2, A3, A5 and radio (purple, light green, light blue in my manual).

In my video (23th second: https://youtu.be/iBxp6z6CybY?t=23) you can see I'm turning central knob and current state changing HIGH -> LOW -> HIGH. It should be the same in your case. If not you have connections problem most likely.

And one more thing, it should be obvious, but did you connect radio GND to Arduino GND?

You still have a problem that Arduino doesn't receive any data from radio.
When jumper is in normal mode it should be resistance about 1k between connector at back of the radio and pin 30 (RXD) of atmega328.


The Second problem is connection between arduino pin A4 and radio (check BC337 transistor connection). This is responsible for entering code (button OK on display).

Today i check conector on back and i have 2,98 around 3k , and i mesure the rezistor and i see in your manual is 0.59k my mistake i put 59k , this valuve 0.59k is not so usualy value.
I ask you PCO rezistor , what and were is conect?

You don't have to use exactly the same value. Every resistor around 500 Ohm should be OK.

If I understand your question correctly:
This resistor is needed only when you use function for eeprom protecting or eeprom reading function. This is decribed as optional connection on my manual.

Arduino doesn't receive any data from radio.
You have bad connection between arduino and pin 2 of connector at back of the radio.
Measure resistance between Atmega328P pin 30 and pin 2 of connector at back of the radio.
It should be about 1000 Ohm or less when jumper is in normal mode.

Check connection on the bottom side of arduino pcb.

It might be any arduino Nano, cheapest clones should works.
It should work if you have 220 Ohm or 0 Ohm. This resistances has protection function I think. Maybe they are diffrent on diffrent arduino clones but I don't think so.

I see on your video that program hanging because it waits for data frame on pin 30 (RX) of Atmega328p.

It must be connection between pin 2 on radio and pin 30 on Atmega328P.

I attached new version (flash), program Atmega328 again and you can try it but I don't know if it will work.

This looks looks like you have still problem with connection between pin 2 on radio and pin 30 on Atmega328P.

Either way, I'm afraid I can't help you more until I have this radio on my table.

Thank s All special MBI , help me to find a chipers way to decode RNS 315 , all you need to do this Job with arduino nano baord, must respec the manual and need to have Signal back of the radio pin2 to ATmega pin 30 Rx.
The key is to practice,practice and practice.
The kowleage from decode Radios is not so eazy how locks like. There some time to Lose some tolls,programers,risks koleague to help you.
