Elnec Beeprog problem

Dear guys today ireceived a elnec beeprog.
there was no adapter i made a adapter from 18v adapter with 7815 regulator ic and 1000uf .
i am reading and writing 93cXX.
But when i try to read 29f400 psop44 it says bad device or poor contact on GND pin.
i can read this 29f400 with top3000.

Why this happening any ideas?

my beeprog+ uses only AC power. sorry, can't say much with this older beeprog. probably the ones who use it can tell you more.

but did you measue 15v after 7815 on load? just feel that this TO-220 IC may not be very good to supply nearly full spec. current without a good heatsink. why not try a good adapter of 15v with full 1A or more.

i cant find original 15 vdc elnec adapter.My adapter is 15vac and i convert it to 15vdc and put 7815 for be sure about output voltage.
i measure 7815 output is 15vdc(14.95)
any more idea?is this beeprog original ot not.if its original i will try higher software?

I'm certain that it's a clone, the original one discontinued long ago. And I think the sw version limit is also v2.67 (?) the same as of beeprog+ clone ( I use original). What is your version?

i think you understand me wrong.This beeprog is not new.i get it from my friend.He also get this programmer from a guy who tried to learn programming.He closed office.And my friend get programmer and gived me.
Are there any web page can i check its original or not from serial number.
I am using software 2.67 becfause i am not sure its original or clone.
programmer come withput anythink only body...

1) Try powering up BeeProg from laboratory power-supply ....
2) Try connect BP to PC through LPT-port ....

i opened circuit programmer produced at 2009.
maybe its clone but after i clean board and resolder some of bad solders and changed all capacitors now working like charm

also at top3000 flash details not important you can choose 29f200 directly from any brand,but at beeprog you have to choose same brand like AMD 29f200 BB

Hey, here is link Download programmers software | Elnec (http://www.elnec.com/download/) and it's active and valid, you can download the last version 2.98f from 30.May :)

Hi, i know where to download the current version! but can't find v2.95 that why my request!

maybe i didn't explain you well. i use original and keep visiting the server once a month for a new release download but missed it on last january for v2.95. when elnec released a new version of the new month they keep the older sw for a while on the server after that completely remove.
