The "gold" V1,54 it is for 912 and 9S12 not work with 908 . For 908 ETL is the Best

For sure ETL is good, but many members on the forum wrote that, with R270 can do this job without desoldering.

You broken it in circuit??what tool you read?? I broken too read in circuit via R270

I read a w203 ezs with 1j35d but only for make a new key. It works but only after several attempts. I generate a new key and all was good. I make this only once since I bought the r270 recently

No, that picture is about W220 EZS. W203 is different. I used connections from R270, not for the R2(key data) chip but for R1(km data)

I think you are right, Not If try many HC08 will damage someone... I had sucess in some HC08 but had damage 1...Never try again...

I think Omega is a better programmer for HC08. It can search SS in circuit connection.
Try it, you will not regret

Same as on the pic's for R270 . just short crystal on other side off pcb . Much easier to connect to other MCU .
If you use brain times two first picture also becomes very easy to connect the wires M8

To me R270 works like a charm in all 908, everytime at first atempt (if connection it?s ok) and never f**c a mcu. Read some mcu?s unreadable with ETL. I don?t use to 9s12, first time all Eeprom FF FF and don?t try again.

My R270 work perfect on ezs from C-class HC08
Tested last week with the manual picture

Your R270 is maybe broken or check solder points

I check connections more time, when I unplug r270 from connection and press read it give me not found 908 model, when plug to read this mcu it tell me unknown pin error, I solder few time to check and all seems ok, go to car to check ezs and it's work, key work all ok just can't read this mcu. Is it necessary to short wire?
I open my r270 and saw there are missing one capacitor, can be that problem?
When connect r270 to 12v have on bip, then 2 fast bip-bip.

On picture from pdf this oscilator is short connected, I connect all like in picture and have that error, maybe someone else have same error? I saw on other board and on other board is missing capacitor too, think that's ok, something other isn't good.

try this conection..to all appearances R270 is defective .. try to give eeprom works po svemu izgleda r 270 je defectan..probaj sa eeprom dal radi....pozz

Looks like 2 diodes are missing also. D1 and D3.
Try to find the values for those from another member who has full PCB .
Sorry, I do not own such a programmer to tell you those.

Time comes to test writing flash to 4J74Y. After finish write procedure the verify procedure give me error. Please if someone wrote flash with R270 to 908 confirm that is work or not.
