2006 Lexus GS300 with smartkey start!! No Start!!!!

Hello Everyone, I'm trying to help a friend from a body shop to start his customer's car.
It is a 2006 Lexus Gs300 that was wrecked in the front. ECM got damage, so he replaced the ECM.
the only equipment that I have is an original TKO and I also have TechStream.
The car does not recognize the key when the start botton is pressed.
I'm sure you all are great at what you do, and just hope someone in here to be able to guide me in the right direction.
I also forgot to mentioned that the customer when he bought the ECM, he got the ignition switch with keys, and the theft lock module
on the right quarter panel. I believe he was told that if he replaced all the parts from the same car, it will start but NO!.
and last I can only press the start key once and it says the key is not register, I cant get to the accessories.

pin 4 - 13
Turn the power switch on (IG) and leave it for 30 minutes. Turn the power switch off and disconnect terminals and test with key registered

Thanks guy for the replies, the issue is that when I press the START button, I get a message on the speedometer that KEY IS NOT DETECTED.
and I cant go beyond that point. no accessory, no lights on cluster. Any other idea please.

Key is not registered. Need to add key again.

Never done this model, if is slot in type, just reset immo and add.

If not, need to virgin both id code and smart ecu, add key and sync for 30 mins.

Thanks Ali, the problem is that I can press the START button but wont go into ignition, Once I press the start button it will give me a message on speedometer that the key s not detected.
now that is the message that i get with the new smart key module, with original module I dont even get a message on the speedometer, nothing at all.
As Ali has mentioned before i need to place the car on ignition position to the 30 minute process but the start button doesnt allow me.

If the smart key cant open door remotely then ignation will never on even key is register in to smart box need to check via tuch logo side with start button at this moment if ignation can go on that mean need register key in to smart box if the key and smart box of same car frist need to check wiring bady control to smart box Than start button after that u register key in to smart box

If replace ECM need tc cg pin 4 or ground and pin 13 if replace smart box need register key in smart if replace id code need register key id code but if u replace steering lock than need virgin id code then register key all other part no need registration u can programme that car via obd tool

Swap ic 93c86 from old smart box to new then connect pin13 4 obd for 30 mint (engine light 3000 flash)

Hello Rashid01 I did swap 93C86 chip from old to new, Now the new smart box is acting like the old one, you press the start button nothing happens. i put the chip from new smart box on the old smart box, and I get message KEY is not detected. back to square one.

I had tried to do what each one of you had advice, but the part where you say that I have to diagnose the car, I cant since I cant get the car to turn to ignition with the start button, I pressed it once and gives me the message that I had mentioned before about not detecting the key. It wont go beyond that point.

If you go on the wrong direction, problem will never solve.

hey rashid all toyotas i diagnose need ignition on for techstream to find what model it is

i have to fit water/diesel fuel filter/buzzer units to some late model 4wds and i find it hard to find ignition to power the unit up
easiest spot i find is sometimes on brake pedal there is an ignition wire which does the 2nd brake switch for the cruie control
another spot which is easy to find ignition is the wiper motor power as its easy to get too i dont use this for powering devices fitted to cars
because when u join a wire to it it stands out like dogs balls but would be good for a temporary job if u want to supply power to rest of vehicle

NO NEED TO DIAGNOSE till the basic is fixed.

There is no key in your smart dump, already been reset.

Need ID code dump (93c46). Open dash to get it.

if you have replaced the smart id code box and have a matched key you need to reset the immo and then when you programme the key the car will come to life alkso bridge 4 and 13 to sync the ecu immo and id

Techstream does not always work, buy the oarnge quick flash. First jump pin 4 and 13 35 mins, then use oarnge adaptor follow directions. The key is reusable so you can not mess it up. The blue on keyed toyota lexus as long as it does not use a 4d70 will kill ecu unless you have flashes to put back in.

by the way, dealer couldn't reset it, they were able to add another key, but they said immo box is in sleep mode and offered to replace all the parts for over $2000

Just add key and car will start, make sure you have the right key.

Many tools will reset via OBD for this car, 16 mins reset. No need to remove anything.

Otherwise, post smart key data, pg 1 - 3, will add key to dump for you.

Now is just a simple lost key case, without knowing the basic and you try on this car,
if you corrupt the steering lock dump, it WILL NOT be so simple anymore!

i must send it to AD (manufacturer from T300 ) i can not do it it is cloon

Hope you do not live in amsterdam, name should be stonedony. If you knew some one with a t300 the 8 digit ones can be done. Or sbb or one of the quick flashers. some make wait 16 or 30 minutes, Even j2534 with v5 of techstream would of got you out of trouble 15 bucks ali some sell 21 with shipping. My post in the middle made sense to me and some others but was posting on one of them 36 hour working benders.

Once you got the smart box and the ID Code first you gotta uncover them both. Secondly,locate the eeprom in the respective boxes,93c66/93c86 for the smart box and 93c46 for the ID Code. Third,read them with an eeprom programmer like UPA,Xprog,PonyProg or any other brand.

Can you help me ? my customer car 2006 GS300 broke down . He sent it to multiple work shop and every immobilizer module have been temper with. Now the immobilizer is not responding to add key or anything. can you help me to virginize all the dump ? Or if you have the dump for the ECU , ID BOX , STEERING LOCK , SMART KEY BOX. I'm not sure if the push start button need to be virginize or not. Hope you can help me out.

I'm having trouble with a 2006 GS300. I'm manage to add both smart key to the car. everything works fine except for the last part performing the synchronizing the system. this is the condition now. Both the smart key works for the center locking and start button. But the engine starts and die due to immo block. the ecu trouble code is Immobilizer system malfunction but the immobilizer system showing system normal with no trouble code.I've try doing the jumper on the OBD II socket , even use a china obd II dianostic tools to perform the hand shake function. but all seem to have no effect.Any opinion you can offer me ?
