Hi
While reading the transponder T25 carprog gets the message "transponder signal is low". I tried with the antenna from clone carprog (adapter A3) and immobilizer antenna from Opel immo2, what am I doing wrong?

Use this mod for CP:

Precisely for this I used, I did 6.6 nF in positions: 2,3,4.

disconect antena and press read transponder what message do you get,if you get transponder signal to low you must do more modification

I don't see capacitor six from you CP removed.
Also, use one VW coil

open up the carprog...do it without covers...I have this issue and for me works without coves...
did you plug in external +12v..???

Yes I removed capacitor six according to instructions, really should however be the capacitor six on PCB, if yes then on what value?
Shemek (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/members/415749-shemek/) without covers antenna don't work, with external +12v and without external +12v also don't work.

If you have done all repairs then you should check your antenna it should be between 5.8-6.5ohm
I have got few antennas and the best one is as above...
Other antennas below 5ohm wont work...I got always signal too low...
good luck..

For me worked only with VW coil (23-25ohm). Fiat,Alfa or Opel coil will not work on my CP

my one works only with antenna with 5.8-6.8ohm...do you know why is like that...???

My antenna clone carprog resistance is 3 ohm, immobilizer antenna from Opel immo2 resistance is 5,9 ohm with my carprog not work unfortunately.

my one did not work too from opel immo2 5.9ohm..
I have added extra 5cm of cable from other antenna and end up with more then 6.2ohm and now is working...
also I have other antenna from clone cp and it was already 6.2ohm and was okay from first use...

Shemek (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/members/415749-shemek/) I soldered to the antenna Opel Immo2 5cm cable and now resistance is 6.2 ohm, but did not help. lupu_sandu (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/members/61191-lupu_sandu/) from what VW group car with the antenna you are using (model car and year) ?

Hi
I replaced on the PCB, HTRC110 01T to a new, via an antenna 23,5 ohm I read the transponder.
I do not know if correctly, I can not save the contents of the transponder to file.
The movie is in this link to download:
cp T25.avi - Przeklej.org (http://przeklej.org/file/MWtJAL/cp.T25.avi)

Hi
I do not know if I'm right but I think the most important is the impedance rather than resistance.

Hello there.
i know this thread is old but i hope you can help me out.
i have clone carprog and i need to prepare transponder for Volvo.
I tried to read transponder but i have error "transponder signal to low".
My carprog pcb seems to have the mods already done for the resistor and capacitors.
i already tried with Opel antena but still same error.
I also have this error with or without the antena connected.
i also tried with 12v connected, but same result.
what can i do to make this work?
I need to finish this transponder ASAP.
Do you think that with VW antena will fix my problem?
Is there anything else i can do?
is it possible to prepare transponder file for volvo with carprog and program transponder with FVDI 2018?
I can read transponder in FVDI and copy info to carprog, but in ID i cant copy value...
Could you give me tips on what can i do to sort this out?
Im sharing a picture of my carprog pcb
Thanks

hello guys,
I was able to get the carprog to recognize the transponders by using the VW antena...
Its seems that i also have other issues with this carprog unit, because doing the test with the A9 adapter, i have "errors" and its marking some damage chips...
Will need to replace these, but it worked for me to prepare the transponders...
I just hope that they work...
Anyway, i want to Thank You All, because the comments you made here helped me to solve this issue that i had with the transponder...
Cheers.

I had a strange experience with this. Carprog out of the box didin't read anything - I always got "Transponder signal too low". Mine already had 15k resistor, so I decided to swap it with 120k and temporarily soldered 1/4W resistor. Everything was fine then - it managed to read my VAG key ten times out of ten with stock antenna. As soon as replaced temporary resistor with permanent one, everything went wrong again - "Transponder signal too low". I soldered back the same 1/4W 120k resistor once again, but still no luck, same error. Wtf?

Update: fixed it by replacing HTRC110 chip with genuine one.
