Hi all,
how should i properly copy the immo from original ECU to used one?
Bosch ME9.2 0261209005?
There is MPC-flash, external-Flash and eeprom. Must i copy all of these memorys? Or is enough to copy only eeprom?

Many thanks in advance.

As bram380 says copy, you will need to desolder a component and short the epee pin to 3.3v so you can write the mpc.

I will copy this with BDM (CMD 1255). Can BDM do this job (all the memorys and MPC config)?

I don't understand, what you mind. If i use BDM, must i somthing short to 3.3V?

Hi all,

I have a Bosch 0 261 209 005 ME 9.2 BMW ECU and i lost the EWS synchronization. Not only the rolling code, but ISN a code is missing.
How can i find the ISN code from the ECU?
I have EWS editor to write EWS, and only xprog to ECU dump, and of course scanner 1.4, inpa, GT1.
Can i connect xprog to ECU?

I now that i can aligned EWS-DME but without ISN i can't.Interesting, but the inpa cannot read ISN code from ECU.

Many thanks in advance and sorry for my English.

... i have clone this ECU with BDM (CMD 1255). But when i wrote flash 28f200, i get error: erase block FFE000 (the last block). I have ignored this error and then i have copy the eeprom and MPC-flash too.
On the bench is the main ECU-Function OK. But in the car no succes, motor not started. Is it because the last flash block not copied?
What should i do to properly clone this ECU?
Should i desolder the flash and program it in progrogrammer (BeeProg), will this work? Or should i use the FGTech2 ?

Please help!

BMD should be ok.

First erase all (mpc, mpc config a/b & ext.flash).

Then rewrite:
1. mpc configuration a/b,
2. mpc flash
3. and external flash.

Thanks,
but i can't erase with my BDM. There is no erase function (china BDM, software CMD 1255). I also can't read/write MPC config/firmware separately. There is only one function: read/write MPC. And the BDM software read all together (firmware+config).
... i will try desolde 28f800 and write with BeeProg programmer. Because with BDM is not possible write the last block
... or any other sugestions?

Is this file is all ready to go or will i still need to edit isn? also wondering if this can be done on bench instead of opening up dme?

Is ISN and VIN already cleared out in this file?
