Cheaper to buy the 4in1 tool works OK on renault but forget about the Ford Function, its cheaper than the 2in1 and does the same job

FNR Key Prog 4 in 1 Key Prog for Nissan/Ford/Renault FNR Key Programmer with High Quality-in Auto Key Programmers from Automobiles & Motorcycles on Aliexpress.com (http://www.aliexpress.com/item/FNR-Key-Prog-4-in-1-Key-Prog-for-Nissan-Ford-Renault-FNR-Key-Programmer-with/1489811533.html)

I would still buy genuine - be a professional.

And Chris is not some big company - he's 1 guy who makes excellent products. In this case I'd buy genuine. Sure all tempted but in the end its being a professional...

Its a true code copy, they copied the tool using old version of software. Then copied the website blurb on the latest version, result - doesn't do all on the list.

There are 4 guys that i know of around my area who have this tool, advertise everywhere doing renault cards - they mostly fail, and call me to rescue them - I have ori true code from very early on, and i remember the bugs - all of my bugs are fixed, you will suffer these for ever :)

Buy original and you will be better than the quick buck crew.

Chris is great too, any problems and he will solve.

You will get people who tell you the clone does not work, i have the 2in1 and the 4in1 and they both work for me so you can make your own mind up.

The 4in1 comes with software v3.2.7 so not the old software ,screenshot below

to be honest , with the affordable price chris sells his softwares at and how good his software is , im surprised anyone bothers with the clone , truecodes renault coverage is 2nd to none with all of the renault modules, and all of the bugs that will be in the clone on such an early version have all been long ironed out .

the price of truecode is so affordable it pays back very quickly , and if you like the clone then you will absolutely love the original as has heaps more coverage and bugs are all gone .

jacostanzo , with the clone version you will have less coverage than you have on your zedbull and renault lead , so will be getting an inferior back up , you already have a better tool than the clone , however with original you have all those ecu that even zedbull fails on and more still , if buying 2nd tools buy better than you have not worse or it just becomes a dust catcher .

if the knock off nigels start supporting affordable developers like chris , who knows what he might come up with next at the right price , my advice forget clone and support original , in this case its well worth it .

genuine is only way with this tool , for renault you have now rtc1 , rtc2 , rtc3 , rtc4 and new renault eeprom reading doftware for clio 2 via obd , for nissan you have ntc1 and ntc2 which is excellent , as well as suzuki software and ford software .

he is working hard on new development with alot in the pipeline including fiat , the more people support him the more time he can spend on development , and can continue to keep his prices low , this is one developer of original kit worth supporting , his support and back up is excellent , his updates are worthwhile , and his customer service is excellent , so bin clone and buy original on truecode , the difference is like ferrari vs a clapped out fiesta , and if you cant make money with it and pay its way quickly then i will be shocked.
