CN900 clone - Big Problem

Most of this cloned Chinese kit is a load of crap especially when it comes to warrentee.

Starting off i had Zedbull mini. Thought it was the best thing since sliced bread until found half the features not working then 2 weeks later it
packed up with similar message on screen.

Few years back had Ford VCM clone and still in warrentee - sent back and thought they'd honour it - like hell they did.
I have the same problem with keys - they take your money n run lols.

Maybe your problem is firmware and somebody can help. Otherwise your up the creek without a paddle!!!

My cn900 not clone, with cn900 updater(loader) communicating well, show id number, but not communicating with cn900 software and cn900 decode 4d. They have latest update, com port settings good. Was try on three different PC. Any advices?

I rewrite the flash and worked again.

I am using original CN900 and it does not connect to the PC CN900 software. So end up using ND900 software and works great.

Here is your 4.7 update. Unzip it FIRST and down-update.
After make update to 5.1 and reuse your CN900 again.

It didnt work for me,this is so easy to do i cant see where the problem lies so i put my steps here.
Connect CN900 to mains electric.
Connect also to pc using usb cable & switch on CN900.
Unzip 4.7 file.
Double click CNupdater 4.7 file
CN firmware updater now shown on the screen.
I see the message latest update found and downloading.
4.7 CNupdater file is now 5.1 file.
I click on connect & bottom left of screen i see serial number & firmware version number.
I now click on update.
I now see ,message Firmware is latest so no need to update.

When i had my cn900 clone returned to china and got quickly cloner better built very i fast with 4d box and 46 cloner and battery operated cn 900 poor quality and soon you update if you have clone you will brick it and trow in bin

support from china non existing they sell you the item they do not want repairs if you have money buy jma evo superb machine or there is also ts888 cloner which is cheap .

I have exactly the same problem now. Please tell me what you did to solve this problem. The CN900 updater said my network is disconnected (there is a sign on the right bottom), while in fact my internet connection is just fine. I try to open CN900 Mini updater and everything is good, the sign on the right bottom shows that the network is fine.
Please, I really need help on this.

Because they are pushing the cnmini and have stop all updates for the cn900 there flag ship unit. Does it make sense to you to stop the production of $700.00 unit for a non working full of bugs $200.00 item.

I believe the factory release all units (good working, faulty are clone, same goes for there off brand) as long as they can move the product it's all profit to them.

Where you buy cn900 clone?

I see the above info from 2014 (is this device THAT old?), and it points to a broken link for a backup copy of the firmware.
Before my CN900 received the fatal flash update, it had Firmware Version 2.28.3.63 / System Version 1.00. I have also seen a newer version Firmware, v2.32.3.64 recently listed for new devices in the market. I've not seen a change log, and I don't know the differences of the later version.

I would like to get a copy of working firmware (currently I'm not picky of which version).
I also need to know the EEPROM IC location on the PCB, and it's part number, as that's been rubbed off.

If I can get my device working with the help of this info, I'll be glad to write a step by step guide with photos to help others do the same.

Just now I realized there is the latest updater for CN900 (v5.3). And beyond my expectation: it's working!

I have just tried to use the 5.3 update (win7 & xp)
by runing it as admin
the update opens then flashes on the screen then off

all the updaters before 5.3......open but say network off line ?


Anyone any ideas why.......I'm not running any anti virus on the system
