So I downloaded like...4 different sysCheck files that I found online. I think 1 or 2 were able to run a successful scan. The other 2 crashed and gave me a code dump.

I read that if a code dump occurs, there is a corrupted ISO. I have no idea what ISO is corrupted.....the crash happens so fast that I can't really see what ISO was being scanned.

Also, the scans that were successful, supposedly a sysCheck file was generated but I could not find a csv or sysCheck file anywhere in the root of my sd card.

Any ideas?

Use my sysCheck19 (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/wii/16/syscheckb19-2442/) which is the latest, post a report as instructed I that link.

The sysCheck.csv file is on the root of the SD card.

If sysCheck is crashing then maybe it doesn't have time to write the file.

Re-install all wads COPY_TO_SD (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/wii/16/copy_to_sd-2883/)

I removed all of the sysCheck folders, then downloaded yours and put it into the "apps" folder of the sd card. It showed up under Homebrew Channel and did a successful scan. I clicked on Display Report, followed by Upload file, then returned to the Homebrew Channel, then turned the Wii off and took out the sd card. Still no csv file anywhere on the sd card. sysCheck didn't crash. I saw that it had generated a file, but no file is on the sd card. Any ideas? It's as if sysCheck does the scan, displays the report, but doesn't actually save the report as a file and send the file to the sd card.

Well its still very strange the sysCheck.csv isn't on the root of the SD card. If you can read the sysCheck report after its done how many Stubs does it show?

Well I can't see anything wrong with that sysCheck. You haven't mentioned any problems apart from sysCheck not working.

Hmm....I want to bring this thread back up because I just now spotted the sysCheck.csv file. I have not used my wii since I last posted in this thread. Well no, scratch that. I took out my wii and tried it today and it crashed when I was trying to load up the USB Loader. I compared my SD card with my usb external hard drive and FINALLY noticed the sysCheck.csv file, which I had not originally saw before. Weird I just now noticed it after 2 months....

Anyways, could someone check it and see if anything is wrong?

So sysCheck.csv was there all the time but you couldn't see it

I'm not happy with Region: NTSC-U (original region: JAP) so it was a Japanese Wii originally?

Check the Region Free EVERYTHING isn't enabled in PriiLoader. Mine isn't and I can play NTSC and PAL games no problem.

Install all 7 wads from d2x v8 Final wad pack (http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums/downloads/wii/16/d2x-v8-final-wad-pack-2048/) as you only have 2 of them.

How do I enable it in PriiLoader. All I have is a PriiLoader 236 mod or something like that. I don't know where to edit the region. Yea, it is originally a Japanese wii. I installed the 7 WADs so now both my external hard drive and SD disk have the same WADs, but the wii still crashes, and I can't run a sysChecker anymore.

I've never heard of PriiLoader 236 mod but you can Google foreign sites. PriiLoader 0.7 is the last version made.

As I said Region Free Wii Games isn't enabled on mine and my NTSC and PAL games both play. Yours being a Japanese Wii I'm not sure, you can enable it and try a game if it doesn't work go back and disable it and Save Settings.

To change any settings in PriiLoader you just press the Reset button and it should show. You scroll down with the big + button to select System Menu Hacks and press the 'A' button. All setting will show disabled, then you scroll down to Block Disc Updates and press 'A' to enable it. Then Block Online Updates and press 'A'. I always enable Auto Press A at Health Screen. Then you scroll down to the bottom to Save Setting and press 'A'. Then press 'B' to move back out.

I don't see why you can't run sysCheck and produce a sysCheck.csv file anymore.

Had to press and hold the Reset button as the Wii was turning on.

Region Free EVERYTHING is already disabled.
Block Disk Updates already enabled.
Block Online Updates already enabled
Auto Press A at Heath Screen enabled
Saved settings.

USB Loader and sysChecker still crashes.

I'm starting to think that I should back up all the files and delete everything. Then put in fresh files.

What files is the usb hard drive supposed to have and what files is the sd card suppose to have?

I still find it strange Region: NTSC-U (original region: JAP). Type you Wii serial number into Wii Drive Chip Database (http://www.wiidrives.com/list) and see what it comes back with?

Now you have sysCheck.csv from the sysCheck download ModMii6.3.1 (http://code.google.com/p/modmii/downloads/list) and run ModMii.exe from Windows. Use the SU option from the main menu and find the location of the sysCheck.csv from the sysCheck which is on the root of the SD card. That will download all missing wads and apps to COPY_TO_SD sub folder just add all files and folders to the SD card and install all wads..

I just want to mention that this is a bricked/modded Wii. Produced in Japan and modded to play NTSC games.

Serial number: LJ130786584The Wii has a RVL-001(JPN) model number and is produced for the Japanese market. The copyright year is 2006.

Your drive most likely has the following chipset:

There is a 50% chance the chipset is GC2R-D2A.
And there is also a 50% chance the chipset is GC2-DMS.

According to ModMii6.3.1, all of my Wii's softmods are all up to date. Nothing missing. I checked the sysCheck.csv log file on my SD card.

What worries you? What am I supposed to google? If NTSC games can be played on a Japanese model? The answer would be no unless you hacked in. Look at the answers posted in https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090901110339AAwtXTv

The funny thing is, I was able to play my Wii really well for a period of time. I bought it online at a low price. The owner was selling it softmodded. I'm not sure what happened. I think I applied an update that made the menu go from bright to dark, then I tried to install a PAL game, then my Wii started acting weird.

Sorry I don't know what else to say only buy a cheap US or European Wii and softmod it correctly. Happy_highlander may have been around but he hasn't made any comments.

Fixed it using the FC option in ModMii. Apparently, some of the files in the COPY_TO_SD folder in the usb hard were not needed.

I don't see how the FC option works as it only deletes all files in COPY_TO_SD folder and makes a temp folder.

All files are needed with the SU option.

If USB Loader GX now works then great.

I already had all the needed files. My guess is that the files in the COPY_TO_SD needed to be deleted. I dunno....sometimes files can get in the way of a process and have to be removed. But now, everything works great.

Keithuk

I made COPY_TO_SD file pack which is all wads needed to get Wii 4.3 USB Loaders to work because uses were coming on here and saying games on a USB drive don't work and they probably have a MAC computer.

Well if your games are working of a USB drive then great. If anything I've said has helped you out please tick the Thanks button not the Like button as that doesn't register?
