Hello, i urgently need your help, please, I am newbie opcom user.
I necessary need to read memory from damaged VDO dashboard (LCD display, tank needle, etc. broken) and clone it in a "virgin" instrument, to replace that broken in opel Corsa C 1.3 Multijet restiling year 2006 .
I probe to use opcom to read eeprom from original dashboard from the pin 12 of OBD connector but dont' work.
I probe the same with the second instrument, on the table, connecting power suply (+12 , GND) and K-line from connector dashboard to opcom but never, the same result.
I probe to change pin and use pin 7 of opcom for hardware chek but the same result.
When i connect my opcom (firmware version 1.45, PCB OPCOM.5 2007-12-10, opcom china-clone 08/2010) I go into the software I follow this path :
Diagnostic, 2006 (I probe other year !) , Corsa-C, Body, Instrument;
Software tries to connect several times, returns only the following information with blue writing:
268092
Fault code, measuring blocks, output test, eeprom menu dosent' work.
Hardware of op-com appears OK, because in the other ECU works done. I think ther is a comunication error, some likes not correct speed transmition or time clock.
I probe to set other speed in configuration but i dont' see big improvements.
Perahaps the only possibility is open the dashboard and read direct the processor NEC uPD780826GC-063 and write contents in the new instrument with same process, but I havent programmer for NEC and i dont'know with build it in simple mode.
Please someone helps me. Thanks

click eeprom menu, then click read pin, very simple job, do it all on the car not on bench.

Once you read pin code from new clocks, reset then clocks then leave it reset and all will be ok.

Thanks ninja, but I can't read eeprom, then i can't know PIN, also i can't change Km value;
All eeprom menu, fault code menu, measuring blocks menu, output test dosen't work.
Ther is not stabily comunication from OPCOM to instrument ECU

If you can't read eeprom and copy to other dash, then swap eeprom from damaged to new one dash.

Thanks Ecupro, I think so do it to desolder eeprom from the damaged dash and solder to the new, but i dont' know if i I have to desolder only eeprom or also microprocessor NEC uPD780826GC-063.
The second is more difficult to desolde i need to use hot air... need a lot of patience !!
What is the function of the two devices, what they contain ?

Just swap eeprom, or buy another op com if yours is faulty, or fit dash in car, not on bench.

Hello,

How can i program ipc module with opcom?
Thank you in advance.

What fimware its your opcom......if you have 1.45 your opcom its not stable with corsa c instrumet module......must use 1.39...or desolder your orginal NEC mcu and solder to donor dash
