On this car the 8E chip just stopped working and when i read the key i get "No transponder"
I have new 8E chips in my stock, and on avdi lists only cruze and captiva, Does Gscan do key programming for Spark ?

I think that with ZED-FULL you can programm this transponder but its not cheap solution

Has anyone got solution to this or knows what the problem is with producing the 8e chip.
Surely the dealers havent got the stranglehold on this chip.
Anyone know which chip needs to be read in this box 116RI-000072 IM860 Immobox pink label

I have done a couple of these 8E chip for Spark, it is precoded 8E and dealer key only. I used Gscan to program the key and it worked well. I tried normal 8E chip and it would not work.

Ok programming key is the easy bit but precoding you are saying cant be done ??? so what your saying is that the only way to do this key is to buy precoded key from dealer and program

you can use used 8e key
but youcannot use new 8e chip
i have eprom dump and flash from immo (freescale inside)

you can use key from new daewoo gentra (uzbekistan)
you can make immo off on sim-2k d52 and sim 2k243
for last ecu you need boot mode tricore
for d 52 DSL mode
(LMT LMU LKY engines)

Thanks for this info. Do you mean we can use used 2nd 8E chip from other daewoo keys or Do you mean any used 8E key? I assume it should be Daewoo used 8E key

yes / daewoo or chevrolet 8e used . you can use mdi or other device

Done 1 today, 2011 Spark. Car had been parked for around 4 months and immo light flashing with both keys. Managed to connect using T100, normal OBD Cable under Matiz 2

Customer gone to car this morning and no start immo light flashing again. Will check and report.

8E transponder have 12 bytes secret key which must be pre-coded for each car or programming can`t be done

bit same as a6l/q7 etc...

SKP1000 program this chip. Im try used key (8E) from other spark and program it OK, car start :D.

I always use secondhand key and it programs in but the much meed precoding data is locked..

Managed it this way .
Programmed secondhand chev 8e key to vehicle .
Then cloned it with vvdi keytool to an vw 8E transponder
Car is a runner ...... with the cloned chip..

Advanced Code Evo / Miraclone can precode blank 8E.
Chip locked after precoding.
Than Obdstar X300 DP can program by obd.
There is only function "all keys lost". Need 2 keys to program.
Doesn't matter if adding spare key or no working key present.
2 keys need to be programmed one by one.
End of story. 5 minutes job. Good luck.
