Hi guys,
I know there are some tools available which can read the NEC/Renesas V850 (70F) cpu's in-circuit using jtag (n-wire), UART or CSI interface, like Carpro tool and Smok (and even some multiprogrammers like Beeprog and Orange programmer f.e.).
However, these cpu's can protect their flash content so reading isn't possible for obvious reasons. So the only way to dump a flash file is using OBD (upload some ram loader and let it dump the whole flash content).
Do you know of any tool which can dump the whole flash of these NEC clusters like this?
(I know Xhorse can dump the firmware for NEC clusters but it only dumps the first 512kb which isn't enough.)
I've also seen a read flash option in Arbitrus AVDI software for VDO NEC.
Anybody used this option before, and stored some flash files?)
Thanks for any info!
