Hi, I'm try to find some cheap tool for decoding (make to virgin) Fiat Stilo IAW 5NF.T9 Marelli ECU. I don't want to pull the PCB out, don't want to drill a hole and I think it's impossible to read from back side, because of the PCB wiring.
So I don't want to buy carprog, I'm searching for cheaper.
Other question: is somebody tried to read / write the Motorola processor by Xprog or something else in this kind of ECU? Is it working? The processor type is: MC68F375BGMZP33 (8J28H)

Hi, I tried it by seeprog, but it doesn't work. :(
Anyone else tried it?
And how about the Motorola processor programming?

You don't have to program Motorolla processor, only spi eeprom 95160 if I remember well.

I know, if I want to make virgin ECU, 95160 enough to reprogram,
But I have two ECUs, which are only program damaged, I can't connect any programmer on K-line, because of the bad program inside of the processor. Any idea?

I think they are different, 5AF and 59F has no BDM port, or impossible to connect

No bdm but you can read flash with Fg just need to know how to solve this issue that the car stop to start, bad software

Actually my ECU doesn't respond on K-line, so I can't program by MPPS or Galletto

The question is still the same:

Hi, I have faulty ECU in my Stilo. Will it work, if I just copy eeprom from original to new (from wrecked car) or do I need to virginise it? Do you have any experience with reballing that Motorola processor?

Well I think easiest would be buying ECU from wrecked car, virginizing the eeprom and than put into the car :stung: I hope my ECU is now fixed - it looks like it was only loose pins in connectors because car is running now fine and without cutting offs or "loose connection" warnings. Of course I have relocated it, because that original mount is a massive design flaw.

Many of you have asked, how did I solve the programming of the processor:
Finally I have found a Hungarian company (autodigit.hu), they repaired the ECUs in a few days, still working well.
I also repair ECUs, but now I use this company for IAW 5NF.

Has anyone managed to virgin 95160 of 5NF with Chinese/EU Galletto V54?

No way... Galetto reads Flash but for Immo work You need EEPROM...

Hello.
I have followed the connections precisely and I am still not successful. Do I need to power up ECU?
