G'day members,
I bought a 2010 mondeo 2.0L TDCI (NZ) about one year ago. Only provided with one key. Managed to get a key cut in UK. Bought a 4D clonable transponder (EH2) and a 4D clone king from aliexpress. Managed to clone chip and it works. However the EH2 chip is hidden under the ignition switch because it cannot be accommodated inside the key. It can hold a TPX2 transponder chip. Anyone out there have any knowledge whether TPX2 can be cloned using 4D clone king?

for what reason you wish cloned key? is better programing in to car.in this case you erase lost key.

Ford Mondeo required two original keys before you can program a third key. Reprogramming a key by dealer in NZ will be quite expensive. It is very much cheaper for me to get the key cut in UK and send to me in NZ. I bought the 4D clone king and 4D transponder EH2 to copy the key. It has been working fine the past one year.

Yes I do not possess a key programming device and have no intention to buy one at the moment because it is a one off job. I did the key cut and copy because it costs less than half I will have to get the key cut and copy by dealer in NZ. Moreover I am afraid that programming device might mess up the whole system and render the car useless.

Hi there!
Am i missing something or what?
Who would ever invest 20.000 or 40.000 USD. for just cutting keys???
The equipment will be worthless way before it pays back its value. Not talking about making profit for the owner before that...
Even if You cut keys all day this will not work business wise!
Unless cutting keys is paid like gold in Your country... not in mine though... :(
Best Regards
