I bought my self r270 and worked fine but when i tried cas2 2k79x and it said unknown pin error... Than i ordered new r270 got ezs with 3k91d connected my first r270 and it said again unknown pin error...I recived my new r270 connected to same ezs and success... I used it fine until i got another cas2 with 2k79x and again same unknown pin error... I noticed on start of r270 program instead of just few bips it did like some kind of update or something on its own... So if someone has any experience on this it would be great...

If need to play with CASs and EZSs you have to own more than one programer , buy rosfar red and xprog , with these programmer you can complete all you work.
Some time i can't read cas 2 with r270 (unknown pin ) so i moved to rosfar or xprog.

AEM, your post is the closes thing I've found pertaining to my problem. I am having the same issue and I'm pretty certain that the "back" image of the CAS board is the problematic area in my case. I'm very doubtful of pin #5 solder point. I have a attached the image I received with the programming for soldering point as well as my CAS board, can you please verify whether or not its soldered to the correct terminal?
