all three were failed.
i am attaching all files

any one has an idea or has 100% good and test file .
thanks for the help

can i just copy a good test file for honda and write it , is possible, do i need scan tool to calibrate or can not been done like that must compare only and do it manually.

which one is the original file? and if you replace module with a good used one you might have to recalibrate the passenger seat (ODS)
Do you still have the car, i will try to clear it!

I have 3 modules with internal error. So, no body found solution yet? Is it really processor issue or it's hardware failure? I know that I tried to good working solution which was working just fine on another module. To this is hardware issue, not software.

I have run into a few of these problems myself. Anyone have a solution yet?

I don't think anyone wants to share the info to fix it.

Most scanner do not have the Data information to give out the correct reading for the new honda's
i used the HDS and give me seat, but launch which same update give me module error.

If you get module error and that is the one thats left. Reprogram both he sws and opds it should go off.

Thank you so much! I could not believe it, but it worked! Sws had some interesting code that had to do with some programming problem. Did a calibration and light went off! You are a genius. Thanks again 😊

So u3000 code can be fixed by calibrating sws and opds??

sawatdee0999

I've confirmed that U3000 isn't a correct reading of our scanner. But the HDS was picking up as Weight sensor reprogramming. Only for these type of Honda. Tested it on a few Honda over these past year's. HDS has something call ODS it programs both sws and opds together matching the codes by doing that the lights went off and stayed off.

Carprog fix is fine. just program the seat for both sws and opds. If you dont have a HDS, Program sws and opds by itself.

Hey guys, so a few days later, I get the same error "internal failure". SWS doesnt have a code, but when I do the seat calibration, light goes off for a few hours and then comes on again. I have a snap-on scanner and it only has the SWS menu, no opds. Do I have to do the opds calibration also? Im not sure what the problem can be..

you will have to do both calibration and how did you clear the light? alex1g35

So main airbag menu has a code "internal failure of srs module" I go to sws, do the programming, then go back into the airbag menu and clear the code and it goes away. And then it comes back. How can I do the opds calibration? Find someone with a different scanner?

that would be the case if you know anyone and how did you clear your file may you upload it?

This tool is working for me to calibrate these ... on the later 2014 modules and at least gives the correct fault codes ....

Get two off them as the first one i got failed after few uses ...

U 3000, this module burn sometimes if crash sensor are damage, or over heat when airbag deploy, is a hardware issue,,, replace module... wont matter even write virgin data wont fix it,,

ok so I reset the module yesterday. SRS had no codes, but sws had "wrong combination with the supplementary restraints system unit". I did the calibration and had to go back into the SRS and clear the codes even though there were none in that menu. Today in the morning the light went on again..

What code are you getting?

alex1g35
4th September, 2015, 02:25 AM
U3000-49 Internal failure of the SRS unit

FxShaw
4th September, 2015, 02:37 AM
Ahhh the infamous U3000-49 code lol...I was wondering how long it would take you to respond back saying it the same issue as before.

Get a new/used module.

alex1g35

So no one knows the fix for it? Will probably start looking for a used module.
But whats interesting is that the light goes off for a few hours, tried starting the car, turning it off, and driving it. And then it comes on randomly. Not sure whats going on..

Wait and see if the fault comes back again m8 ..

Only way to sum this thread up is ......

If you did a wrong read from module( voltage on programmer too high ) you might have problems with even the correct cleared file flashed to the Module ???
Or am i getting it wrong Here???

Just recently had this issue.
1. Cleared the crash data from 95640 and U3000 49 appeared with other codes.
2. Replaced Infineon chip, did not help.
3. Loaded VIRGIN file instead of clearing crash and re-calibrated the seat, Problem went away, SRS light was OFF. Drove around, tested OK.
4. Next morning started the car and the SRS light was ON again
5. Hoocked up the scanner and !!! No communication with the module, WTF???
6. Checked the ground, re-seated the harness connectors, NO COMM!
7. Threw the dam module into the trash can and ordered used one from a local parts dealer.
