Sorry not capacitor SS14 ONLY diode.after when you swap this diode you can do programing and other things without 12+ except motorola (when need 12+) I use HC125M from texas instruments and every carprog work great..do not use 125d!!! it is bad solution.. Yes i will do few pic PCB and I will share here ok? maybe today..

I have to day tried to read ( immobox of Golf3 in circuit ) HC05B6 mask 0F10V 4x13 legs, I cant see any info in de manual about cutting of some legs from pcb.

Immo box golf 3 has PLCC52 motorola..You can't lift any legs from PCB Beter unsolder it and you should use xprog hc05 PLCC52 adapter and will be fine ;) try and You will see bro

i had another carprog main unit as you all know they break... all my others one's were reworked... so had the same issue couldnt read 24c and some motorlla mcu - change for HC125M not (D)

done mine last week works fine now..

Maybe im doing something wrong. In carprog choose 2J74Y and flash. But the address and size is same like in eeprom! It must be set manualy? And what about security?

Yes... I have many times & after done flashing you would have to replace HC125 to HC125M as marked in step 4..Other wise it will never actually write to anything.

CarProg 8.21 included with lib, exe, firmware with no activation needed. Extract 4 zip and then open zip file and extract.

Hi lats. Any problems with my favorite HC08 2J74Y? :p Did you try read it in circuit?? and isn't work? better if you unsolder it like I do. It is much faster to program it on QFP64 table. like in picture..and did you try read secured ews 2 with mask 2D47J? Because I have a china clone carprog, with different colors on adapter cables that the original cables, it was very difficult for me to figure out which color where should be connected. Of course, no 100% solution found on internet. For those which have the same problem, with colors on china adapter cables, and for those which are looking for Carprog DB-25 pinout, A4 EEPROM adapter pinout and A6 Clip adapter pinout I will post my work here. I hope this will be useful for someone.

So can anyone confirm if the clone CarProg's v8.21 'Online' actually do any of the online functions of the real CarProg? Mainly MAC and Infineon air bag MCU's via OBDII?

As I understand it, when the original CarProg connects to Infineon and MAC via CAN bus lines, it connects to CodeCard server to fetch security 'key' to boot module and get security access to dump flash via CAN bus.

How does a clone with just updated firmware manage to do this? If they just clone a server how does it get the security key to actually program these modules (and dashboards) with the true Online functions?

I have a few clones laying around and if I could use them as decent backup to my original with all OBD functions I would do it but i have heard elsewhere that they still do not have true online functions, ie. no OBD2 airbag programming of Mac & Infineon

Here is a tip...I use that repair kit on my cp one a year, I can't recall the last time I had an issue with it.. I like to keep it in shape
if the original breaks then you got 3 option..convert clone to original..no biggie or tell them to send u new unit which might be around 200ish with all yr activation on it or if u got time to waste then send the old one in for repair.

You won't need to use that option on airbag so don't worry about it.. very very rare case u might use on a dashboard. my advice is not to use it at all.

Hi everyone, i joined up here to find out about these carprog clones. I've been looking on aliexpress and see a few different ones v 7.28, v8 and v9.31. Ive noticed though that some of the v9.31 listings are stating that only some functions are available. I'm mainly looking for it to clear crash data, pull security codes off older vag cars, pull opel security codes and possibly a few bcm resets.

what would the best one to go for be, or can i buy any 9.31 and mod it with the information in this and other threads?

Its a D1 Adapter and used to program some dashboard and some airbag modules, carprog will show a pic of it when its time to use it. this is one other thing you can do with it, here is a picture of how I modify mines to read eeprom.

i made test adapter,, telling me 2, 3, ,4 are bad,, unny if i test it without a9 adapter it tells ne same thing,, so when you repaired yours what was the issue,, you think its better to order replacement,, or try to repair i have ordered repair kit just waiting for it

Need some help/ advice.
My carprog clone will not read 95640 chips so I bought the 74HC125M chips and replaced them and now the carprog just reads 00's. I have two clones and both the same results with the new chips. Did I buy the wrong chips? The last picture is the original chip. These are the ones I bought: https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/CD74HC125M/296-9173-5-ND/376813. Any help would be appreciated.

NVM it works. Bad connector.
But one clone running 4.47 can read + write 95 eeprom, but clone running 8.21 can only read.
Any suggestions on other stuff I need to change?

I have a carprog 9.31 , when I connect USB to carprog it doesn't change anything on device manager (XP) ? But it still does make the windows XP noise to confirm that a device has been connected? Can anyone please help with this problem?

I'm confused with my china clone 8.21. I have red many things about fixing carprog clones but I haven't found a good solution to my problem. Last mod I made was changing HCT125D's to Texas Ins. HC125M. Original ones where Phillips 74HCT125D. After this done U11 got super hot and I disconnected usb.. Can somebody post pictures what to do on board please.. New 125's where checked by the supplier that they are correct type and I soldered them on just like the old ones where in the board..

What's going on with this thing, any Ideas??

what firmware you have in carprog? don't look on software 7.. if firmware is ....7331 it is 4.01 ver of software. reflash it with 8.21 and enjoy

Pinout for what?? it's a eeprom 95080, so look for that on board and hook up eeprom adapter and read.

Recently I purchased the carprog of ebay, the one that had the most items sold, and I tried fixing the airbag for a honda civic,

When I found the part number and tried to go ahead with the repair, it said " Required update is not active "

Should I just take the eeprom off, find the corrected data and re-write the eeprom, or is there a way to fully unlock carprog?

You must check all adapters according to the correct pinout.

Hey to all.

I'm trying to read Honda 95640 in a adapter board. I have 8.21 and 7.24 units, tried many different softwares but no success.. Chanced original 125d to texas 74hc125m, 47 cap on place, 2.2 SMD's chanced to normal resistors etc. First without any mods to the board it red the eeprom fine but verification failed every time.

With this current setup, windows 7 blinks all the time that something is connected and disconnected very rapidly. Doesn't work at all. What to do next??

i need help to read / adjust mileage on astra h 1.7 A17DTR denso ecu. carprog (clone) read correct km value, correct VIN but a strange value for PIN code(+AHM). when try to modify the mileage carprog makes the modify but returns verry high value(about 8.600.000 km).
also the dump's that i can read are strange, same 2 strings are repeted many times... attached the dump for "read eeprom raw", "read eeprom 2" and "read flash".
can anyone help me...

Hello, I have a little problem with CP. On the box from seller is sticker v10.05 but probably is 4.01 really . I'm install software 9.31 with 081105CAR001773I.lib. Many funkctions like ECU VAg is n/a. ECU pin from Opel Kline is working but when I try add card in Megane II 2004 show me a box: attempt 1,2,3... end connection error. I have a1 adater with cables between obd to a1 board. Every capacitors and resistors is ok. Voltage regulator work ok and take 5v to mcp. What kind is it problem ? Best regards from Poland

I replaced kit with 74hct125m, mcp, tantal capacitors and quartz but is the same problem... Anyone have a idea? I checked on 4.01 soft version too - the same as firmware in atmel - but don't help. I try with and without 102 smd resistor in a1 pcb between can l and can h- the same. KF 50 ? Maybe 4.01 fw dont have CAN funxtions? A1 pass the test plugged in car and without pluged into OBD.

Only with original since they now store all the data online and does the correction online. you can always clear manually and use cp to write..easy and done.

Mine is original but nothing like the pic of FxShaw above.
There is no board at all just wires going straight to the corresponding pins according to the diagram plus the two resistors and the diode. I must say though that i have this tool for about 10 years now but was never able to read and write any Motorola MPU and no Ford air tool is working either on the bench or via OBDII as it Writes but never verifies OK as many bytes are always different. It is to my big disappointment for such an expensive tool... I was asked to send it back for service but need the rest of its services so i never did. Checking it though with A9 all tests pass OK!
I gave Up and use X-Prog for most work as it is much more reliable...

I've managed to destroy my Carprog (clone) with a short circuit (accidently) on the PCB while it was running :(

I killed the AT91 + AT88SC.
I changed and reprogrammed the AT91, but now, how i can get a working AT88SC Crypto memory? Is there still no solution yet?
I can lend a Beeprog+ from a friend. Can it write this Chip?
I found only one Dump for the AT88SC, but i still don't know if this dump works or not.

Can somebody help me?

Buy a new Carprog. The simplest way:2in1:

I think it's the only option i have. Because i compared the one and only Dump which is available in the Internet and it does not fit to the capacity of the AT88SC (it's way too short). I tryed to program a brand new AT88SC25616C with Beeprog+ and it's working.

We need the password from the chinese guys who programmed this IC to read it's content, but i don't believe they share with us. Does anybody have contact to the manufacturer of carprog clones?

The only solution is to contact dspcrack.com, it's a reverse-engineering company who cracked the security of this IC and can read all the contents and give the password. I ask for the fees to do this job. Mabe we all can collect money, dump one good AT88SC and sell the dump for others wo have the same problem?!

Otherwise, buy a new carprog..

What do you all think about this idea?

serg2000, the guy who scammed shittons of people including me for carprog 8.xx "online" mcu without tokens counter... Yeh, online never works and few weeks later counter starts appearing to everyone and no one ever hears about him again until he has something new to sell..

Or is he giving that firmware to the people he scammed? That would be decent.
