Hi all
Does anyone know if x-100 pro will program a transponder for a vw T4 pls? Is it able to pull pin obd or must we remove immo & read? Also is the" quickly cloner" able to clone this transponder? There is 1 working key available. I suspect the answer to both is YES however key programming (especially vw) isn't my forte so any help is much appreciated :)
Thanks

get yourself a local locksmith spare key is not expensive on that model you will end up wiping all keys if you do not know what you are doing also pulling pins you can corrupt ecu if you do not know what are you doing also be very careful with super vag it can
destroy clusters the clusters on vag models are very prone to corruptions proceed with caution .

Customer already has a spare key but transponder isn't Programmed. I already have x-100 pro and quickly cloner with 4c/4d decoder but not used either on vag yet. From what I have read it appears that both would do the job..I just wanted confirmation and perhaps a little guidance. Also I'm only too familiar with vag dashboards getting corrupted as I've had to repair a few in my time using original smok. I have many original tools..used for different purposes, the latest being truecode for Renault (full package). Thanks for your input.

The 1.9 + 1.9TD T4 Transporters have a separate immo 2 box so the SKC or PIN cannot be read via OBD, you will have to remove the IC (TMS370) from the board and dump the hex to get the pin code. I was able to do this on my own T4 with a chinese xprog-m read/writer, when you have the SKC/PIN you can add new keys with VagCom. I not 100% sure but i think the 2.4 diesel variants of the T4 also use the separate Immo 2 box and i have no clue on the petrol models.
My Immo was a 6H0953257B

98-00 immo 2 = tms370, 2000-2004 immo 3 24cXX. X-prog, Zedbull & Effi do these. 10 minute job.

Actually I'm pretty sure that I've done one of these in the past. IIRC the immo module is behind the dash to the right side of radio? I read tms for pin then programmed key using genuine AD kit which I borrowed at the time. That was in an all key lost situation. This customer already has 1 working key so the question still remains pls..can "quickly" clone the transponder from working key without requiring pin ? I know this is probably basic stuff for experienced locksmiths however im still learning and I appreciate all your help/advice.

Yes T4 isnt id 48, I forget the type but I just use my TRS5000 to clone them and they work fine. No pin required to do this, just copy them & it will work
