Precode CAN transponders for VAG cars.

Hello everyone. I want to share that information because I think it will be very usefull for the most of users of this forum. This procedure was tested by me with ZedBULL, but would be made with other tool.

VW - XXXXXXXX0AXXXXXX TP23
AUDI - XXXXXXXX1AXXXXXX TP25
SEAT - XXXXXXXX2AXXXXXX TP22
SKODA -XXXXXXXX32XXXXXX TP24

As yu see you can write this byte and your transponder is precoded. When the work is done you can test reading the transponder, it must says Volkswagen CANBUS, AUDI CANBUS, SEAT CANBUS or SKODA CANBUS.

Hello friend. This procedure is not in Image Generator menu. Yu must go to Megamos Crypto menu and write the byte in UM2. The procedure was tested with effi 173 modules.

Hello everyone. I post this pictures for clear the way to make this procedure. The information you must to modify is in User Memory 2 (UM2). Look in the pictures, in bytes with AA I write similar info to original keys, that is my choice. I hope this clarify the procedure. Best Regards.

Hi,
Newbie here if i may ask some questions please.

I have read these posts and really need some confirmation,hence 2 images for your advice.
I have a ID48 glass chip of which i require to make into 48 Audi Can Bus Chip.
The megamos page in EFFI reads FEDC all as 00 00 etc.
If i require Audi, I just change D from 00 00 to 1A 51 the select the write D button to the right correct ?

Same for if i require VW Can Bus i change D from 00 00 to 0A 51 correct ?

If this is correct what about FEC where it is still 00 00 etc

This method not work.Each transponder has its own type of crypt.For TP23 one crypt,for TP24 other crypt.

This method want work. For correct TPxx preparation it is necessery to write 4byte unique generated from transponder id to crypto area + some unique values on visible part. Only way get proper tools or discover algo:P

now u can see difference betwen avdi and mk3 (bad tool)

I have some tp23 24... made with FVDI tag from fly, theay read ok but never tryed them really on core since i hade bunch of bought can chips... do you think FVDI precoded them good?
