Hello, i bought a newer ABS and tried to calculate the coding myself. I get a „Coding accepted“ but when I go back to the VCDS main menu and back into the ABS menu, it‘s all zeroes again. I did not turn off the ignition while doing that. Does anyone have an idea what is causing this? Wrongly calculated coding maybe?
Please note that the ABS is not yet installed in my car, i just connected the plug to be able to access it via VCDS. I‘d love to first code it, and then get my car to a workshop and have them swap it. Because I doubt they could code it themselves.

I do not think to have sensors in the tire valves.

But if you are not happy, please be ready for some more pain recoding it :)

Yes i changed the coding of instrument cluster to show km , Celsius usw. The clock i did not get working in 24h. It shows AM and PM.
I will try to change it back during the week and report whats happened.

Is there a chance to get a 100% working EU Version?
A complete EU instrument cluster i have...but i am not familiar with the immobilizer.

If you want fairly easy fight, as mentioned, change to Canada and if the car has got full MFD, then via the menu change units to *C and the clock.

Also, you could do a fresh AutoScan using English version of VCDS and share it - maybe someone could help you
