Mr BLACK the answer for UR question is yes but same SW versions of SAMBA has few bugs and you might end up with "device not recognised" after programming and using for a while your CarProg so better to use J-Flash for segger .

I tested the 8.21 clone on a VW UP 2012, the software connected to CAN got security acces reads the dash part no but then stops. Is it the A1 cable or the soft? KIA Sportage by obd works fine. I also tired to read/write a EWS3, but the cable 11 wiring isn't right, i have to look at it.

ews3-why dont you use adopter A11 ews to read and write this module..?it works ok but Chinese one has bad wiring so you need to do a bit of modification...

Greetings Dr. peter did you make the hardware test for the A1 cable. For the A11 here's schematic from Codecard for you to check. I think you should resolder the carprog base programmer if it is a clone it as very bad soldering and check capacitors polarity.

How can i identify my carprog's fw ? The "carprog online" what i bought is received yesterday , but i get a cd with an exe and a lib file . There are too much n/a on the program, and all online feature are inactive ..

Hi, I bought carprog 8.21 online clone because I need swap my cluster with maxi dot one with VDO NEC 24c64. After two days laboring I figured that this tool is not usable for me. Online functions are FAKE! Isnt possible to use this function because original carprog is comunacating with codecard server (On this server are stored algo for seed keys, I think) but this china clone have only server emulator so all request to compute seed key are rejected. I have check canbus communication and carprog send to cluster request for programming mode then cluster send seed and carprog clone reject communication!! So this clone is unusable for features which need online server. THIS TOOL IS USED ONLY FOR VDO NEC WITH 24C32 EEPROM. Immo block in this eeprom isnt encrypted so carprog can read immo block without reading key from nec chip. Server emulator in clone is good only for enabling ONLINE feature but real functionality is missing.
