Hello, Does anybody know how to program a key for this car if all keys lost. I cannot connect to immo using toyota techsteam. I can only connect by Subaru select monitor and when I do, I need a working key to program another one.
I took off the Integ Unit Assy. PN: 88281CA220 , it has a 93c86 chip in it and i think that is where the key data is stored. Has anyone done one of those? How?

Thank you,,

Thank you,

So how do I reset the bcm to program a key?

I have AVDI and TM100... would I be able to do that by any of those?

I think you need to look for 24c02.
Form TMPRO:

Software module 190 - Subaru 2013 BCM Mitsubishi
Memory device is serial eeprom 24c02 SMD8 package.
Expected file size is 256 bytes.
Use original Subaru key or TMS37145 80-bit transponder,for example Ford 80-bit .
Written transponder is ready programmed to start vehicle.

I read both cars Transponder ID 1. Toyota FRS 4D 72G 80bit. 2. Subaru WRZ Mitsibushi "G" 80bit.
i also order a immo box for the FRS to have virgin. I order it at Toyota dealer came in a Subaru box and part number. It seem to me that mitsibushi make different immo system for different makes and model. If I remember the Smart for two come with mitsibushi system with the Sam.

Question about using system - smart or old type blade key >

When BRZ have a smart system, they use very like to toyota system.

For eeprom work need read only smart module (93C86), in this moment Subaru&toyota sytem not have any secrets , from eeprom memory You make working smart key with all funcionality.

It looks like you need this for this car :

Software module 188 - Toyota,Lexus,Subaru SMART key unit Denso
Memory device is serial eeprom 93c66 or 93c86 SMD8 package.
Exected file size for 93c66 is 512 bytes,for 93c86 is 2048 bytes.
Use ORIGINAL Toyota,Lexus and Subaru keys ONLY.
Programmed key will start vehicle when you put it near START button.
HandsFree function WILL NOT WORK.
To activate it,you must program ANOTHER NEW key by OBD2.
You CANNOT reprogram SAME KEY,that you added to file.

When I search this part number it comes Toyota/Subaru .

Thank you for the info...
This is 2015 Subaru BRZ with a regular key (toyota tr47 type).
The only body ecu it has is inside the fuse box and the chip i found inside was 93c86.
Has anyone actually done one of those that has info? Thank you.

Cover much old stuff already covered by other tools.
But maybe it can do the Subaru you have a problem with.

This car doesn't have immo box . It must store the key data in body ecu. If anybody has a Virgin bcm dump or Virgin cluster dump please share.... thank you!

I took apart the dash to look for the immo module, and I found the connector for it, but no module. On the diagram it saids it is optional.

Can you read the 93C86 in circuit or do you need to desolder ?
