Immo off edc15 can't write file to eprom

Read the b58253 masked as a 24c02. Iv changed the data but won't write data back to chip. I'm using prog express and batronix bx40.
I get a time out message 2 / 2h

Any ideas?

I write this eeprom xprog- no problems...

in edc15 is 24c04
msa15 is 24c02

Change eeprom or use other programmer.

lab tool also not write,but use UPA,Xprog,or any other and will be good.

Can I use any eeprom? Like a 96c...?

No, I solder 24C04 in place of 24C02 and no problems.

Had same problem with wellon programmer. Solve like that I had Microchip chip, but tried to reat another brand. For me all 24c02 brands can be read thru, but whe I want to write eeprom, that works only with exact brand. Try different eeprom brand, best this one what logo you have on yours chip.
