Read HC08 MASK OL72A- WITH XPROG

hello all

im having trouble reading this mcu..
from mercedes temic pld MR control unit.

belive its mcu - MC68HC08AB16(0L72A)

selected mcu in xprog - MC68HC908AZ32 (OL72A)

NOT SURE IF THIS IS CORRECT MCU TO SELECT ????

reading with xprog and get AD AD AD AD AD AD-

problem with sec bytes.

using sec bytes :

$F3-$B1-$F3-$AB-$F3-$A5-$F3-$9F=MC68HC08AB16(0L72A)
$F5-$12-$F5-$0C-$F5-$06-$F5-$00=MC68HC08
$F5-$13-$F5-$0D-$F5-$07-$F5-$01=MC68HC08AB16A (0L72A)
$FF-$FF-$FF-$FF-$FF-$FF-$FF-$FF

lifted pin - IRQ & RST

still the same.

lifted pins - IRQ RST PCT3

still the same.

if i change to 4MHZ - reads with AD AD AD AD AD
if i change to 8mhz - communication error

if anyone can point me in the right direction would be great.

using pin out : 382761

best option? different programmer? which one?

anyone have correct pin outs for this mcu for xprog please ?

Don't worry, reading AD AD is a verification that your all connections and setting are fine. Now just looking for the correct SS!

thanks for the info.... i really wasnt 100% sure with the connection..
if anyone has/is able to give me the correct SS that would be great..
