BMW e46 replace EWS3 --- new EWS4.3+2 new key

HI,

It is necessary to replace the old with the new EWS, because the old EWS sometimes does not work.

Therefore, it was commissioned kit (new ews and two keys) the VIN number. We tried to change with the new EWS and programmed via the ICOM - ISTA P and does not succeed.

How then easiest way to solve the problem?

EWS 4.3 not compatible with EWS3 if my memory is good.

post ews4 data ,also i see that u reset keys 0 and 1 but u did not use in ignition .

Thanks a lot your help bram380 , but costumer has bought a new kit ews 4.3 with keys , that replace old ews3 , because the old ews3
often does not work.

Looking to continue the solution replace old ews3 with new ews4.3

if you have keys for that ews, you need only put ISN from old ews to new, next do it synchro by inpa, and car must start.

does the vehicle even crank with old keys , and what key number do u have ?

because the key look diffrent form old keys , if u make new keys for ews4 should start , or i can try to add old keys .
