Hello key masters!
Car Audi a4 b8 2009, replaced BCM2 module, old key added to immo, but radio channel (buttons on the key) and keyless not working.
Any one know how to clear all data in old key and reassign it as a new key?

If rewrite eprom/flash should work, tested.
if use abritus to transfer immo data should work, tested.
if use tango to transfer immo data - not work, tested.

Hello.
did the BCM2 same as original part number and THE hardware? maybe you install BCM2 without keyless function. and about remote control yes is there a device can re-unlock it and will be as new remote & after ready to relearn it to BCM2.

Hello, thanks all!
Old BCM2 has part-number 8K0907064AG (US market, 315mhz), and it has EEPROM chip, the new one - 8K0907064CT (Europe, 433mhz), and on EEPROM chip place is EMPTY (it seems to the new BCM2 is newer and his EEPROM in NEC processor). I can't connect to the new BCM2 on table for transferring any data.
New BCM2 has functionality of Keyless, i already coding it, and car start from button (start/stop), but only if key inserted in lock.
After replacing official dealer in my city has unlock modules from Component Protection, and assign my old keys in new BCM2, but old keys now working only for start car, radio channel (buttons on keys) and keyless not working, and official dealer of Abritus in Russia told me that it will not work until i reassign a new key (empty)
I have 2 keys - my original US with keyless (315mhz) and donor key Europe (433mhz), but my original already reassigned in new BCM2 as a used key.
I replace frequency generator chip from Europe key to US key and now i have US key with 4 buttons and frequency 433mhz, but how reassign it in BCM2 as a new key for working all functions.

I have read the eeprom chip from old BCM2, and, i understand right, if i write this eeprom to new BCM2 all should work as before?
Any one know how to write eeprom to new BCM2 without eeprom chip?

Hello.
1) Friend normally the best way when the bcm2 original and the new used are same,in this case you can transfer immo from original bcm2 to new used bcm2 by obd2 avdi or xxx.
2) so in your case your new used bcm2 not same as original bcm2, so here what you going to do you have do on your risk, some people try swap eeprom so the result was damage bcm2, and others swap all immo and flash some done and some result was bcm2 damage after that. so here your new used bcm2 different so i think the result not done well as original, some functions will not work, so my friend by your self carefully try.

What was wrong with Original BCM?
Why not buy same part number and simply clone it. You can get it on ebay less them $100 same part number.

I wounder why you spent time on this.
You have to different parts and you want them to work the same?
There is a reason why them r different.
Get your self a same part no.
Good luck

I agree with Sima
I tried this on old BMW keys once and it was same deal - start the car only.
Why you are changing the BCM from USA to Europe? maybe this information can help to resolve your problem.

Hello!
Sorry for my late answer!
I leave in Russia, and here not possible to find used car parts of US market. Because the problem was urgent, unit was bought with part-number 8K0907064CT and key with 433 Mhz for the penny )).
Breaking news!!!
I cleared the data in old key of Europe (433 Mhz) and made him as a dealer key through Abrites and assigned him in new BCM2, and radio channel started working! Buttons on key opens and closes my car, start/stop button started working, but kessy in door handles still not working. And now is the deal of honor make all work )) I think problem may be in key, because it is from Audi A6, but all components almost identical.
