Do you have stand alone tag tool or with the commanders because under BMW commander you can realign ews with ecu if not... read ecu data through software to post here so someone can sync it. have you found replacement ews3 data to replace with form here? Ak90 is a very good tool for EWS. How did you erase?

Thank you Sir, ill get back to it soon. Should I erase all other key like keys to FF, just right Sync bytes? Or it doesn't matter as long as sync is correct?

no problem, you can change to FF rolling code for all key.

Dear Bram, Just in case I make mistake, whats the location in ews file to write ISN?
labusas
30th October, 2016, 06:58 PM
I know HW 04 location is ISN Location = 1EB-1EC
But is it same for HW01 SW 03?
labusas
30th October, 2016, 07:25 PM
wrote to ISNLocation = 1EB-1EC but AVDI can't do sync
Maybe it's a wrong location for early HW1.
Need dump please, does anyone have it?

Is it true that I also need this in addition to ISN or it won't work?:
GM, SA, VN, ISN with INPA.
-Edit EWS dump and fill in those data.
-Create a new key

M8, have you any key-maker to program a new key (you need new PCF7935) from EWS data?
If not, then go to the next locksmith with one EWS dump, pay for a new working key (he will also change ISN) and write EWS data back, aligned with Ecu and job done...

Yes, i am a locksmith.
I did hundreds of 0d46j with k line and new pcf transponders.
This is a first 47j mcu.
The new pcf transponder is not being accepted by EWS no matter what file I wrote to ews.
HW1 SW3, I DONT HAVE this one
anyone with that version and can edit ISN above?

Thanks to all helped, Mainly Bram for ISN and file - this is solved.
1. wrote Bram dump, xprog original K line, 2D47j. Turn verify OFF
2. Make new PCF7935 with Tag key key#8 and didn't work
3. Make new PCF7935 with VVDI2 key #1 and it worked - Car stared cranking, KEY password = VALID
4. Synchronized EWS-DME with Autologic = car runs.
Have a great day! Love this forum.

Hi Labusas, what tool did you use to read the raw data? I ran into the same problem, the ECU is the same. I don't know where the problem was as I used AK90 like always and chose the correct MCU 2D47J. This AK90 did this 3 times in the last week, but from ME5.2 for M62 engine I am unable to pull the ISN with the tools I have to my knowledge.

Hi Bram380,
I found your posts in this topic.
I ran into the same situation like the original poster. I know how the system works. In my case the 2D47J got erased by AK90 accidentally and I am not sure what was the cause because I am 100% sure that I did not put +12V to it and I definitely chose the correct MCU from the list. This never happened before, but this month I erased 3 pcs 2D47J. The first two were an easy job, but with this one I have trouble.
Anyway, I know it is an EWS3.3 and the ISN for DME in INPA is not the correct one. I only have Galletto 1260 and Galletto v54, xProg, INPA (K+DCAN) and ISTA (ICOM), BMW Scanner 1.4. I can not find any way how to read full dump from the DME from which I would be able to identify the ISN. By my equipment I am able to pull 32kB maps, but I am not certain if the ISN is stored there.
Could you please tell me if with my equipment I am able to get the ISN?
I am willing to pay as the car is originally from Poland and I could see someone already programmed something in the EWS (there were marks of soldering) before. I also can order a new EWS, but I am not sure if the DME is the original one from the car and not a reprogrammed junkyard piece. In that case the new EWS would not work either. If it was EWS3.2, I would not have this problem at all.
I tried to send you a PM but the system did not allow me to.
Thank you very much for any help,
Martin
