Mileage modification possible with obd tool and teamviewer connection ?

Hello.

For my last car, someone in russia help me to correct my mileage on my Focus ST 2009.
We do this with my elm327 and a connection by teamviewer.

Is it possible for a Fiesta ST182 model 2015 ?

For my Focus, he took a dump of dashboard firmware then modify it and re-load in my car. And only with elm327 USB and team viewer connection. But I don't know software he use to do this.

I think for fiesta it will be possible with a odometer correction soft compatible with obd.

Is this fiesta with 2 long neddle and a short neddle at the bottom center?

if the same, I think possible with ESL27 or ELM327 and teamviewer

Most devices use a serial or USB port and they could be remotely connected using Teamviewer, so possible I suppose (if connection is fairly good).

Just to tell you my car is Fiesta ST 182 year 2015 with 9S12XEQ384 dashboard.
And I have a modified elm327 with button for mscan and hscan.

What you are asking is a difficult feat... I don't even know and understand how did he did it before...he would have to be well skilled in understanding what codes to send and some how inject codes through teamviewer :hmmmm: .. hats off to the guy, but that is some elite shieeett right there. Cool concept thought. my question is...if the guy did it before then why not ask him to do it again? For this one you will have to learn to do it the hard.

I think he had dump firmware of my dashboard then modify it and finally re-inject on my car.

With elm327 and elmconfig software on FORD Focus, you can do lot of things like change ecu firmware, modify some option,etc...
I saw him use a very simple tool to dump my dash but I didn't find it and I didn't remember :(

But now, some members tell me it is possible for my fiesta but no news of them. They don't answer to my MP re-:(

For all who don't understand the procedure, it is very easy:

The OP is just connecting his laptop to the ELM327 of his car. Then he starts TeamViewer on the laptop and the Russian guy is connecting to his laptop. Then the Russian guy can just control the laptop of OP and do all the software work necessary.

Out of the box, No. I would have to look up everything first. Then, maybe, if I can get the right software. I strongly suggest someone else :)

Question is what software is possible to read/write (change mileage) dash eprom using ELM327, then all need to be done is install that software on controled computer over teamviewer and run it....just i am not sure which software is capable of doing it, i know that forscan uses elm to communicate but i am not sure if it is capable of eeprom reading/writing

edit: forscan apparently can do it, but it is protected only to write higher mileage something like multiecuscan for fiat i guess. So my question would be did russian baćuška guy maybe corrected to higher milage that it was ?

Russian guy just reset to 000000 kms. Russian soft elmconfig can do read/write ecu on Focus. For dashboard, I don't know how he did. Perhaps mileage not stored in dash but somewhere else... This soft can write higher mileage like forscan.
But Russians are the best, they develop these kind of software...

The maker of Stool (Alexander) not selling his tool personally, Vasilich is his distributor but I talked to Vasilich he didnot want to sell it outside russia..
othewise Stool not yet support your dash so not possible to do it using ELM327 plus Teamviewer.

why did not search any cheap tool to do it, you can ask the maker if it is supported by FORDOMETER 2, this tool only worth 75 USD

For STool, I have to wait future update but the person that I contact, doesn't know when this update will be ok.

I don't want to buy another tool for the moment, but If I buy something in a few weeks, there will be probably Obdstar F-100. But I am sure some people on this forum can do the job.....

And about Fordometer... it make me laughing because the tool I bought one week ago, For OBD2 Tool, is the same software and obd plug but for 40 USD ;)

On occasion I use this to help customers remotely.
The big advantage is that they never see my main tool, just the remote end which listens to TCP/IP commands and forwards them over the USB/CAN connection to the car.

No I am sorry I cannot help you, because my code can only do NEC/Micronas (VAG). I have no support for the car you need :(
It was just to clarify that remote connection is possible; either simple via Teamviewer but also straight TCP/IP with some server/client tool set.

So I finally purchased an OBDSTAR F-100 and everything is ok.
It was 39884 km and I wanted 22000 km => it wrote 21888 km in less than 5 minutes.

Very very good material this F-100.
