Toyota Prius 2010 ZVW30 smart key

Hi,
I tried, by reading other posts, about same topic to understand what to do about this car when all keys are lost.
Some one claims there is no box in dash, behind blower, then some one says that keys are in transmission module and
also that smart b0x needs to be reset ass well. Can we try to clarify this and have it like guide for future, please.

I Found box behind blower, ( 89784-47010 in part catalogue it says Computer, Immobilizer code)
When I import dump from it's 93c46 to AVDI dump tool, It recognize it like ID box and offers me to reset keys or virginize and
tell's me that smart module needs to be reset, I didn't remove module because was late, suppose that is 89990-47060 and its located
behind glove box (correct me please if i'm wrong). Will teke it out today.
Can some one tell me how to reset smart module, by AVDI or ... ?

Any help will be highly appreciated!

So You telling its possible to do that car via OBD with SKP900?
I tried with AVDI, AD, Zed Full, lost 2 hours in trying.....
Ask people and no one is sure how to do this car.

Thanks, it looks interesting.
Some one have this Hotwire programmer? Is it works really?
Till now I only menage to reset immobilizer on some LandCruiser and Hilux.
Yaris 2006 onward, Avensis 2009 - 2010, Prius with slot key, Corolla 2009, few of each, no luck with OBD reseting with AD or AVDI or ZF only adding keys work, but when is no keys, all of them I done by removing immo box.
I will be really happy to find some device which really work, to make my life easier.

Tomorrow will go back on that Prius and will post what I have. (probably more questions)

remove id box and smart box read eeproms and put it here someone will reset it to you , then use obd to add keys .
i used for it T300 , it give you output code to inter input code (use AD calculator for it ) then job will done

Did your car have slot for smart key? If you have it, then your car older version and has ID box.
My was without slot (just a push button) and I have to reset gearbox ECU and Smart key ECU to program new key.

I will take Smart Box if I can find it, It should be behind glove box, but is not there.
There is Power management control, MPX body and Transmission control which some one all ready mention.
In Transmission control I dont see eeprom....
Ideas?

In yaris smart Box was on driver side above throttle pedal if that helps

easy job with tango and slk emulator for lost situation 3 min and car starts everything by obd also newest smartkey from toyota chr

2009 Prius zvw30 engine start, hybrid system start impossible.
The READY lamp does not light.
No error code is output. The warning light also lights up and does not blink.
The shift lever is not in neutral or is not driven from parking.
Is the ID code box synchronized?
Please tell me how to synchronize.

If you have a master key, you can synch ecu.
Connect pin 13-4 in obd for over 30min.

If your key is programmed, remote works, and powersteering comes on, when ign is on.


Should your ecu not be matched, you would have fault codes!

I worked, but it didn't change.

Problem solved.
1. Write reset data to Smart ECU
2. OBD4.13 short
3. Techstream ID Code Box synchronization
4. Add key (4 previously registered keys match ^^;)
5. Finally add key Become. If there is no key registered before, it will be NG
6. Since it is a registered key, register without reset
7. Finish!

RADEY lights up and the engine has started.


It would be nice if I could reset the ID Code Box from OBD, but does anyone know how to do that?

Where should I look at resetting the ID Code Box from OBD?

G and H, smart system, you can emulated a excisting key. (H not all,depending on updates) (with eeprom in smart always)
Regular key G you can all reset by obd.
H regular key, only some.
Youtube, look for: TOYOTA TYPE H RAV4 WITH OUT REMOVING IMMOBOX AND TANGO AND BARRACUDA

Keep in mind, barracuda is a seperate unit.
