I have a Renault Espace 2005.


I have lost the keys to the car.


I have bought a blank keycard to be programmed and USB TO ODB cable


What software can i use to program the key to the car i hope somebody can help me on this one :)

Just using a obd / usb cable will not do it.

Normally the programs/ softwares that will do it will cost 100's of pounds if not more and come with own cables.

its cheaper to go to the local locksmith and pay them to code it in for you as doctore said above.

Where i live there is no locksmith i live in the netherlands.

I have seen you can program key with DDT2000 light version it is freeware but i don't know where to find it.

Does anybody have a clue where i can find DDT2000?

Or if anybody knows how i can get the pin/secuirity code to program a key.

The pin code reader does not work for my renault espace does anybody know how i can get this code because i also have an other tool to program key but asks for pin code.

If you can get it working....

DDT2000 is old software, and many functions on the lite version aren't working. Not even sure 'lite' will even do the key programming bit. Sure it just does fault code testing. Then there's the issue with your pin code... which you probably don't have, and don't know how to get.
Plus your USB>OBD cable will most likely be a K-line interface, which'll talk to older Renault models but for CAN (like your 2005 Espace) it probably wont connect.

Call an expert. Someone will 100% come to your part of the Netherlands and program for you. probably cost about €60.

Maybe 2,5 hours driving from top to bottom?
Or crossing the country should take about 70-80 minutes?
This calculation is without traffic jams involved.
And the roads are also of high standard.

I am quite sure that there will be a locksmith within that range.
A locksmith will be at your location real rapid.
They are used to drive larger distances, to get some of their hard earned income.

I was still not successfull :/

The FVDI software is not running with Renault. It crashes when loading :(

What is another good solution?
I tried so many times.
I would also go and find another locksmith in Berlin who can help.

hy guys and sorry to dig this thread up,

I've bought the FNR to code keycards to Renaults until 2008 but is going to take a while to arrive so I also have a copy of DDT4ALL / DDT2000 around here and the proper cable to work with it, but i dont use it for a long time.

Is it possible to programm keycards using the DDT4ALL or/ DDT2000? I saw around here some threads that it can be done but the procedure is not very clear.

Does any one have experience with this particular procedure?

Ive found this procedure so far:

1.first you make read UCH
2.ignition switch off
3.enter APV code
4.press buton start APV
5.insert new key and turn ignition on
6.after led immo off wait 5s. and turn ignition off
7.insert next key and turn ignition on
8.after led immo off wait 5s. and turn ignition off
9. press Valider button and afterwards Abandon Mode APV
10. now test new key and remote.

I have doubts about this since there is no ignition off or on procedure if the card isnt recognized in megane 2, the ignition will only go ON if the card is already coded to the car. Can anyone confirm or correct this procedure?

I've been testing and found that I can't read properly the ISK for an Megane 2 PH I (its a 2004 car, im sure its Phase I) ..strange...Am I doing something wrong?

Hello, if you go to this table, you can normally assign the cards after retrieving the PIN code
