Usually Carsoft BMW and MB Carsoft require their own hardware, but I've heard about these soft working with KL-line...

Please add DWSCAN, Research Daewoo, Opel Motronic, to the list for KL-line....

Carsoft I?ve tested, better result with RS232 cable but also works with USB.
With BMW 325TD year 95 engine diagnostics, Abs diagnostics, erase DTC?s and SI reset done.

for Opel:
opcom-demo with full measuring blocks (cracked demo)

for VAG group:
VCDS Lite 1.0.01 (from RossTech) with cracked loader

anyone have any idea how i can get VCDS-lite to recognize my KKL USB cable? i have the USB drivers installed, but VCDS-lite only lets me choose COM1-COM4 ports. i don't have an RS232 plug on my computer, nor do i have an RS232 cable, so that's not very useful to me. any help would be great, thanks.

if you make sure the usb is set to use com1 in device manager on pc it should work,if its set to a different com port you can force it to change

Newbie hear. Have op-com being a Vaux Tech. All these progams work with the same sort of interface kkl. But i presume you need to buy a different one for each? or will my op-com interface work with anything else? Firmware is 1.33. I'm guessing not but would like confirmation. I read somewhere on another thread a more generic interface loses many of the functions

If you have OP-COM interface with CANBUS+K protocols, then you DONT NEED this softwares for KKL interfaces. OP-COM interface work ONLY with OPCOM software, and this software its the BEST for Opel vehicles.
From my expirience OP-COM interfaces DONT LOSE ANY of functions, all work good. Regards.

FIATECUSCAN works with USB KKL and USB ELM V1.3a (and above) with no problems.

Fiat ECUScan works also with simple serial kl interface and ELM v1.2 and above with no problems! :rock:

Its just version 1.2 cannot support all of the functions...

INPA use pin 4(DTR) from COM, Carsoft use pin 7(RTS). If you replace 4 with 7 it should work.
