if i need to read dump please could you let me know what chip i need to read . first time ever needed to decode kenwood

thanks all for the help i put radio on and it says code off, not sure why as i did not change anything!!
i will give customer the code 0714 all should be good.

i will have to check the code now 0714 or 0719 but when i remove power it still says code off, any one have any info on this.

i only read the eprom didnot write anything.

You check if you correctly solder eeprom back.

i did not desolder eprom. now i have removed power and put back it says waiting 3 wich is good .
strange thing is if you remove power for 10 mins and put back radio comes on with code off and works fine.
very strange!!!
