there are not the same devices. on my pictures devices have 20 pins, but on yours pictures device have 28 legs??? maybe any sugestions...

Mcu 20 pins is atmel, mcu 28 pins is pic18fxxx. Different tools but identical work. Regards !

I made this unlocker to run on a PIC16F876. Both versions of my unlocker pictured here used the same mcu (I may have used an 18F252 in later versions).

I've attached a better .sch that you can use, sadly I cannot release the .hex as this is now not mine to release.

Also attached is what I think was the first prototype.

BTW, this unlocker was made my reverse engineering the ETL signals. Really VERY simple.

TYPICAL, i ended up with 3 of these, but my fat unemployed friend who partly funded my education, smashed to to shit rags.

NEVER thought about playing with 'lock 13' and 'lock 10' untill to late.

Was thinking of (afterwards) would connecting either usb-upa or x-prog or even a max232 have worked to suck out a working dump, then 'lock 13' then shoved it back in?

The 3000-4000 is a very simple 'one way' signal. 5000-6000 etc use an LTC485 for the more complex question/answer type comms.

hi, shooting, see this file.
passcard, pic16f876 i wrote it with WinPic800 with JMD-programmer. Choose option device -> program all. I tried it on working radio (ford4000 - it was not locked, radio works). Volume drops automatically with one point.

This weekend i bought from "gipsy mall" two radios - ford 4000 and ford5000, after that i locked them to level "Locked10" to test Unlocker tool. Ford4000 was unlocked without any problems - red indicator was working and the second indicator was blinking too, but the other radio Ford5000 doent work, when i tried the tool. The red light was shining, but the other indicator doent turn on. I think the problem is the firmware in PIC or i did something wrong by accident. There are some photos in the attachment

First of all, ford4000,3000 use i2c to do reset, for ford 5000,6000... rs485 (rx/tx).
