Default can i merges digital tv, cable and sky signals in one cable ??

can anyone help ?

i have one main sat cable that runs into my home it used to carry my sky signal aswell as terrestrial tv signal.

the cable runs into a media cabinet which houses all my av equipment.

Recently had VM installed too , and unfortunately it is extremely difficult to run another cable to the media cabinet
as it it a built in one. and all cables are run under the floor.

So i was wondering if i could merge the three signals together and them split them at the destination??

can anyone explain how best to do this??

I allways say that most things regarding wiring is possible....i can remember when i was young and satellite tv was first introduced to the masses in this country...I used the coax from the tv ariel on the roof to "back feed" the amplified signal from the old Amstrad SRD100 STB to provide satellite TV in everyones upstairs bedrooms ! This was whilst it was also still being used for Terrestial tv downstairs !! When the STB kept locking out and a lad from the installers came to try and repair it, he took one look at the "set up" i have managed to get working and refused to even begin fault finding......My dad stood there laughing at him saying he was out of his depth in our house. eventually i convinced him that all we needed was a replacement STB. So i say if you have a teccy mind try and have a go yourself, like most people on here i have a huge plastic box full of different cables i have gathered over the years.....good luck
