Default coventry and Rugby receiving New Cards

VM have started replacing cards in Coventry and Rugby.

4 people confirmed this today and yesterday. My parents received an enclosed letter saying their old pace box will be changed in 2 weeks by an engineer.

Im not sure about birmingham just across the road from coventry. If birmingham is also receiving new cards then the game is UP.

Most parts or North and south LONDON started receiving new cards last week.

Clever people now selling Dm500C on ebay for $20.00

I have never seen these boxes this cheap.

Better than throwing them up the loft and die there

£20 is being clever mate. In few weeks no one will buy a cable box even for a fiver because they will be useless unless if you want to take it to malta

bud you would get knocked down by the mad rush for them @ £5 as the clever people know a thing or 2

and for someone who's got a dm500/dm800 and motorized dish i wuld have expected you to know

As each week of "free" tv is worth over £10 I would say that there is absolutely nothing clever about selling them for £20

I dont thing many people will go down the route of CS cable. You would rather spend your money on a 500S and enjoy 5000+ channels across europe.

Easter is 5-6 weeks away and word is that by then the whole country cable tv will be dark to all of us in this hobby

The roll out has been accelerated and you will see quite a few areas receiving their new cards.

VM's use of CView can be quite easily adapted to sniffing out more than filesharing on it's network. Hints of utilising CS on cable I would steer clear of doing so on a VM's own network.

I know there are many ways around circumventing detection,(using another provider is the best/logical way ), but as CView is only used on less than half the network, where, when and how "officially" it is to be used is open to discussion.

When will I receive my new TV Smart Card?

We'll be sending your new Smart Card over the next few weeks. We'll send you a letter just before your Smart Card arrives, letting you know to look out for it.
