the firmware is the thing that is changed, in fact when u flash the joker 0.79 u change the icecrypt to a jokercam.....the blue zeta can be changed using a funcard instead of a cas interface to give u the ability to edit a boxkey...what colour icecrypt is it

thats a black icecrypt.....if u want to change it to a jokercam then u will need a cas interface and the joker 0.79 bin file, if u haven't got a programmer for ur smartcard then get a cas 3+ as this doubles up to do both jobs.....u may be able to flash firmware on it using a funcard like u can do on a blue zetacam....not sure about this

ice.jpg

looks like it should update by funcard if u can get hold of the necessary files

square - joker sent to your email

that programmer is no good if you think it serves as dual purpose. it would work for flashing the fun but no use for your cam.

Right! first hurdle out of the way...got the damn fconnector! yippeee :P
Managed to tune in and get the channels, but a little disappointing that the quality is not as good as the dm500c.
Never got a clear signal on the bbc hd channel, I preume it will clear when there is a funcard in the cam?!
Next hurdle will be to try and see if the progger I bought in the days of humax 5400 will be able to program a funcard!

hey guys i got a bug where everytime i swich the tv off and turn it back on i have to pull the card and add it back in to get i working, has anyone else got the same issue and what they did?

Secondly i cant seem to find BBC HD on mine, is it in a different name? Also how can i delete all the channels on the sony tv and do a fresh rescan maybe that might catch the bbc hd???

Lastly does anyone know how to flash a matrix reloaded cam cos i deleted blocks in it via cas 3 and now not even being detected.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks tried with IRD all zeros still got the same issue.

Secondly does anyone know how i delete all the channels it has picked up on sony tv, is there a factory default settings somewhere??

Finally to explain more on the matrix issue i got:

When i put the card in cas 3 i get:

this cam seems to be a revolution cam with read option from the connector disabled, so we cant verify operation like write and erase, do you want to continue anyway?

I still continue, delete everything, flash a firmware and den tried flashing the matrix.cas and got:

Programming Xilinx 9536
Error writing XILINX device, please close CAS Studio and retry!

Not sure what am doing wrong. All this started when i deleted block 0 in error and now the card is not even being detected by the sony TV. Does anyone know the solution to this for if someone got a matrix working with TV what firmware is on it.

Thanks
