m8 l havnt a clue why this isnt working , l know all about hidden files (thats on) it must be because 8.1 was installed before m8 . l have uninstalled with youruninstaller2008 and cleared all the files and started again and no joy . l install 8.1 again and all good ie open the same folder u say ie hidden one and drag dll file in ...

but 8.2 isnt havit .. will have to wait for a new dll file the same a 8.1 to come l think

Only tested so far on an XP system.

UNTIL YOU ADJUST YOUR BROWSER TO SEE HIDDEN
FOLDERS ETC ---you wont be able to see the new
licence file !!!

Basically:

install program

run and activate 30 day trial

check licence -should say days remaining (trial)=30

Shut down workshop ati

Adjust explorer as in screenshots so you can see hidden system folders

Go to: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\WorkshopData\0\workshop.exe

Delete workshop registration entries file and put new one in as in screenshot
in folder called "new workshop registration entries"

Close browser

Open program and check licence ; should say .'...days=365

my 8.2 working as it should

every time l install it always says no trail left

i had to format my h disk and reinstal windows to wipe out all traces of workshop was the only way i knew how now every things works ok had a few goes at trying to delete the workshop entry cause there are few in the download i used this one

Vivid 8.2 has a cookie in this directory which i think
is what tells program it has been installed and if trial
has been started and or used.

C:\Program Files\Zero G Registry

Also there is 2 registery entries that must be deleted
when uninstalling.

I had 8.1 before (on XP) but followed Mozzies directions and it installed fine giving me 365 days.

I actually had problems myself updating a pc from
8.1 to 8.2.
I had to save the rst,ent files and reinsert
them into 8.2 then place the .key file before it would
work.

I may have found some patchs for the other version; the
armadillo protected version 8.2 ;the one that asks for a
hardware fingerprint key.
However will be a week before i can upload that version,
and also test.
