i have been told by a very good source that blade is the new name for eurovox is this true ? if so i assume there will be lots of support out there for this box very soon

From the same factory as Eurovox I'm told. The GUI looks almost identical to the EX6000 and is very similar to the Technomate TM6800/TM6900 boxes.

It only has a single tuner in it, no idea if it can be changed though?

Yeah, I noticed that aswell but its deffo single tuner,pity its not twin really as its a superb box.. Just needs a firmware update to add a bit more

I presume they mean you can record channels that are on the same tp. You can do that with most boxes.

been told by my supplier that the twin tuner model is on the way but gonna cost a pretty penny , after having one of these for a week now i am well impressed with the picture quality

Am I right in saying you can't get CCCAM working on the official firmware on the website?
Because the 9991 menu doesn't show so I am using the custom firmware.

correct.. last firmware was 16/9/2010, hoping for a new one soon

these will have a sat and cable tuner, due out jan/feb, waiting on price.

Interesting, wouldnt of thought you'd have that much interest in a sat & cable box unless cable goes like sat c/s?
