NO free sky
its an old trick. Pull the phone connection from the wall. Cut the wire. Connect the wires to a 9 volt battery. Then order a ppv movie. It tries to dial to charge you but cannot get through to pay. So you get the movie.
I think you can do this about 10 PPV movies this way. It queues them up. If you ever re-connect your phone line you will get charged for all the movies you watched or something to that effect.
It doesn't work lads. All's that happens is when you reach a certain amount you get billed for it.
You used get up to 50 quid credit depending on your credit status and method of payment with a Sky receiver, once used thats the end of it, if you pluged the receiver back into the telephone connection you would be charged for all information that was stored on the BGA chip on the receivers PCB board it remained there for ever, it will only change back if any new version subscription card was sent out by S*Y (every five years or so ) as a new card entered into the receiver resets all the BGA data back to default.
But i think this loophole has been addressed by S*Y over the past few years and I dont think it works on most receivers, except the very early models that are no longer been issued by Sky or have been upgraded by subscribers for newer versions.
