hmmmmm well sky bloke told me out of the 20mb they advertise you will get about 8mb, but the standard bb package they give you a monthly allowance of so many gb ( not sure how much ) if you want unlimited bb its another £7.50 a month, virgin bb is the best by far for speed and reliabilty.

yeh vm turning into rip off *****s, best thing you can do is when contract is over ring sky see what they can offer, then ring vm and select "thinking of leaving us" option and see what they will offer, play one against the other, all tho vm dont seem to give a **** about old customers nowdays since nag3 kicked in if it wasnt for vms bb i would be off to sky like a shot.

The VM 50mb service isn't capped, but they do throttle certain traffic, like BT and NNTP. I found I could avoid the throttling by changing my giganews SSL port.

VM are always one step ahead of Sky when it comes to BB. When sky complete their infinity rollout, VM should have rolled out 100mb.

there is no competition when it comes down to fibre optic you get what you pay for that is why sky offer 2mb for free im with talk talk and get around 6mb im more than happy with that
