MY SATLINK WS-6908 WON'T CHARGE

Hi all, just wondering if i could get some advise. my satlink ws6908 satelite meter won't charge. i took out the battery and it is fully charged @8.4v but my meter wont turn on. is it buggered or do any of you have a solution... thanks in advance. jph

If you put to charge , it`s charging? This batteries have a protection which don`t allow to explode. Put to charge for minimum 2 hrs but don`t disconnect it from the charger till 2 2hrs!!
