Even if you have the sat name wrong that frequency does not exist on that sat.

    Code:

looking at the map it tells you what size dish you require, you need a receiver that will accomdate the viewing card, what is the encryption?

The encryption is viaaccess 2.5 this information is given on the right hand side of the page provided. It also gives you subscription details, one of these options is to buy the card and dedicated receiver at 180 euro. 110 euro of a 12 month sub only. A generic receiver like a tm5400 with mulitcam should also work. Dish size should be quite small maybe 60cm as its a strong signal, but I would go for a big a dish as possible. Just checked and I am getting 85% plus on a 1m dish.

    hi,

    many thanks for the reply.
i would like to receive this channel as well as other channels. so i would prefer to not to buy the viewing card from them.
if i were to buy this tm5400 with mulitcam, can i get a card from somewhere wehere i can watch those encrypted channels.
    thanks

That channel is encrypted in viaaccess 2.5 and its secure its not open with a patch that I am aware of. It looks like its not part of a package and the only other way is with a dreambox. But even with this you will need to know someone with an official card for this channel. It may be if you want to watch it you will have to pay.

You can buy there own receiver for an extra 60 euro's. You could also choose a receiver that is generic and should work. As I don't have that card I cannot give you an exact box to buy but something like a tm5400 super should be ok. You can consult a supplier for exact information. Will you want to only watch this channel or get as much out of the system as available? If so you may want to look at a server box like a protek 9600ip. You would need to ask your supplier if it would handle the cards encryption though.

That particular box is sold with everything you need, you just set it up and connect it to your broadband. You will still need to buy the card for the other channel that you want. You may want to ask others opnions of this box. You could check out the nanno x forum. You will need a good aligned dish as the disc 1.2 function on the box is not good but usals works well (i believe)
