iphone 3g battery issues

Hi my iphone 3g which has been on 3.12 suddenly developed battery life problems now the batter is dead in 10 hours with approx 1 hour of talk time.

this is with 3g off ......

any ideas?

is it jailbroken?

Try turning off these features -

1 Notifications. (Settings)

2 Location Services. (General Settings)

3 Fetch New Data. (In Your Mail, Contacts, Calendars settings).
