faulty xbox 360 controler help

my boy has plugged my wireless controller in the wrong way round now it wont charge or connect to xbox 360 but it still works as a controller but wont charge or connect to console through charge cable.the cable is fine so are the battaries does anyone know how to fix this thanks

So he plugged the USB end into the xbox upside down?

Have you tried plugging it into one of the other USB ports (even the one on the back) or into a USB port on your PC?

yes mate tried everything usb ports are fine on console luckily tried conecting to computer as well no hardwear found cable is ok coz it charges my spare controller

if you havnt had these to long contact xbox customer services,,,,you may get all brand new gear.(controller)...m

obviously you say you dont know how this happened this happened a while back and they were giving controllers out left right and centre..

Not just controllers , I've had a 120gb hdd, 3 controllers, a power supply and a wireless headset out of them. Say you bought it in the last 3 months and let them go through their fault finding script and they'll send you a replacement at the end of it. Only thing they asked to see a receipt for was the 120gb hdd. I found the Indian call centre was a bit tight, the Dutch however just love to give you free stuff

already had a contoller off them about a month ago that is my spare one now that works ok dont think they would give me another 1 for free again thought i there might be a fix for the broken 1
