    Well I assume your Wii is softmodded?

    If it is please post a sysCheck report.

    If it isn't softmodded then if I were you I would upgrade your Wii to 4.3 thats if you have a WiFi connection.

    hi there sorry to hijack this thread a little but i have just bought a second hand wii and was wondering what info i need before i look into preparing it to play downloaded games? what info do i need from the wii console to get some help from you guys ? many thanks. Dave

    Welcome to DK Dave.

    Well the first job is to find the current Wii version your using. Click on Wii Options bottom left then click on Wii Settings the spanner on the right the version number will be shown on the top right.

    I personally would do an online update to 4.3 if it isn't that already you Wii will need a WiFi connection from your router. Then you can use LetterBomb to softmod it. You must do all 3 options listed.

    1. Install Homebrew.
    2. Install BootMii.
    3. Prepare SD card - so you can do a NAND backup, don't forget this part. NAND backup

    After you have softmodded there are various tutorials for installing USB Loaders. You could use ModMii.

    You will need a 2GB SD card to softmod your Wii formatted FAT32 in Windows.
