    Default wii microphones

having some problems with wii microphones.

my niece has a softmodded 4.3 wii with usb loadeer. i have updated the loader to 62b.
i think this is the newest one?

anyway she has bought some multiformat mic's which the box says is compatable with the wii,ps3 and xbox 360.

the make of them is "impact global solutions"

she has various games u sing, xfactor.

now, when i connect the microphone up, the wii recognises it and if i tap it i can see volume bars moving up and down.

the problem i have is that no sound from the mic's comes through the speakers????

is this the way it is mean't to be or am i missing something..

    any help appreciated..

My neice is having the same problem only the mic works in one of the usb plugs but not in both, shes got a pair but when she puts um in only one has sound coming through. There isnt a problem with the microphones for definite as we have tried each mic in both usb plugs and only one of them works at a time, weve switched them over and the same happens again. Tried both mics in another wii thats been modified and the same thing happens in that console aswell......really wanted do a bit of performing on christmas day aswell, was gonna blast a bit of Robbie out and make a complete tit of myself, unfortunately that cant be done now! Any help is muchly appreciated! Cheers....nags

a while back i bought some mics off ebay, they were supposed to be for any game console, when i came to use them they would only work together on a duet or singular.
what it was that the convertor block that the mics plug into only had one digital convertor in them so they were useless for dueling.make sure you have blue mic and red mic with corosponding coloured ports.
if this is not your problem then try launching game with cios222
