Here is the latest firmware for Openbox S9 HD - Europe and America (17/06/2011)

For Europe version software, its mainly features are as follows:

• 1.updated mediaplayer to support some video formats--VCD(MPEG1),DVD(MPEG2),AVC,MP4(H.264)
  
• 2.modified multi-cas read cards.and menu to disable EMM.
  
• 3.add Indonesia language
  
• 4.updated Slovak language,add Czech language
  
• 5.updated Russia language,add Persian language
  
• 6.modified some biss encrypt to decode biss channels
  
• 7.added C Band LNB local frequency:3620MHZ
  
• 8.added local time setting ---- bangkok/jakarta GMT+7 .
  
• 9.added patch to support softcam.key format.
  
• 10.modified some HD channels playing reboot problems
  
• 11.modified background connect to internet
  
• 12.add to 32 FAV list
  
• 13. Add HDMI and AV output at the same time

Dissimilar: These files are not mine. I found those from different websites. Haven't tested it yet.

Great thanks for this software it's works perfectly on openbox S9 clone without any reboots problems and the
pictures became more vivid there is a bunch of news things and i so happy to have put this software on my Bolt HD it was worth it. Awesome

Do not forget to restart the receiver in the behind after the update when you notice some hassle on the sound.

Anyone else not seeing the antenna list, sattelite scan options disabled on the box after installing this firmware?

I am getting no signal on Sky 1 and the signal strength is showing as 8%-9%

I figured it out you have to reselect your satellite in order for it to show the other options

firmware works great but a few channels not working for me even after a full rescan

MUTV & sky 1 so far not clearing states no signal and signal shows top bar at 41% and bottom one at 10%

anyone any ideas ?

Make a factory default before to rescan.

Hi Guys
how can you tell what fireware is loaded on your s9?

my s9 8888 code is 00ea

but where does it list what firware is loaded.

machine comes with latest updates but how can you tell.
